yes your dead right ,i do hope siku bring out the MAN truck in push along ,because the r/c ones are a bit of a hit to the pocket even at trade cost ,i know new ray and welly do them but they not the same quality, not even in the same league ,but then the siku ones need to be good to justify the price ,

just took the man truck over for john Dickinson and he was blown away by it ,he is over the moon with the work i have done for him ,for a guy approaching 70 years old he sharp took to the controls of the remote control  ;), ,,now on to the frank Hudson transport order 

the john Dickinson transport company is massive moving CAT and you will see them all over the UK and some in Europe ,so it is no wonder forum members are spotting them every were

great stuff ,now this is my sort of thing  8) i think we are going to see some great things done on these siku scania`s  ,,, hey nice paint finish complemented by really good decals ,,, 8)

no i have not got a cat dumper to go on the back but that would just be just the  job  ;) ,this has been done because john and one of his sons chris were so happy with the scanias i did for them .that they wanted a man done in there colours as well ,and the fact that this unit was r/c did not seem to bother them , ;)

pete the 50% discount thing is just me having a laugh meaning how can i charge what i do,, for say one of my white valtras when siku will charge around £35 each for these ,,,so i need to get rid of mine before there's hit the shops  ;D ,,,but me knowing the market i think they have missed the boat with this one ,,, on the other hand when these things come out i tend to find that collectors start looking at similar models just a different colour ,,,,

well if siku are coping  some  stuff of mine i think i will take it as a complement  ;) ,i have a motto all is fair in love and war  ;D ;D ,,,,besides mine are better and they have kind of fizzled out any way ,

Anyone bought one of these, and have any comments on the quality, are they like the new ray, or welly 1:32 models?

pete they a rubbish ,they like a welly copy with blacked out windows or silver widows really really bad ,ovoid mate stick to siku trucks / welly or new ray in that order,

nice little touch there paul  ;) don't know why siku never did this to the models in the early days  (no glazing to the doors ) but i think they have seen the error in there ways now .

Yellow seems to suit that. Is it an awkward colour to work with? I remember spraying a wheel yellow and it just would not hold on the rims.

no ,,,not to me ,colour ,any colour to me is no problem ,but here is a tip use a white under coat or white primer ,for yellow  ;)

yes since i have done this  in yellow i have done a bit of research on yellow mc cormicks and your very right ,Cornwall council had them and farmmodels did some ltd ones a few years back but not this model and there yellow is very different to this ,this is more like air port yellow ,i don't really like this model in red but i like the yellow on it ,

I think you enjoy the painting on models so even if you have spraypainted one pink you still enjoy you re work!

But as always the paint finish is a high standard!

funny you should say pink  ;D ;D,i am on with a pink jd for my friends wife's birthday ,and she does not like him collecting tractors to much ,so we will see what happens  ;D

well thanks there steve  i just like different and let face it we all have green john deeres,blue new hollands ,red masseys and red mc cormicks on our shelves at home etc ,,so this is just a bit different and i know some will say ,well that's what colour they are supposed to be ,,,not at my house i can tell you  mate ,, ;D

there could be out there ,, but there was no reason for this , apart from a bought a few of these and could not sell them looking at the likes of ebay nor are any body else getting rid of them ,,so i thought i might as well paint some up and if they do not sell now after the colour change  i am more than happy to keep them  ,i just liked this yellow it like the air port yellow ,,going to do 2 in black because i have a black one sold all ready ,

now thats is a fantastic job  8) i would realy realy like to get hold of a set of  them you have done ,they would look just the thing on the back of my grey wiking claas axion 850 5000th model , looks as if i am just going to have to make do with a set of mowers from uh and paint a set up in claas colours
