not sure what colour  ??? a candy or metallic black or just gloss black  ??? don't want it to look " pimped "

  3. i have only ever done this sort of thing to real trucks ,cars and vans ,but ""tris"" had to dangle the little carrot in my other feed  ,,""go on go on you know you want to !!!"" i took the bait  ::) ::) ..as i started i thought to my self ,what have i got in to here,,, ,i have loads on at the moment ,on top of getting ready for spalding  ??? ??? ??? ,,so i am easily side tracked ,,but hey ho i will give it 110%

  4. yes the other one was a  black wiking axion 850 i had done and it was only the body work and wheels on the un arion i had done for my scottish friend same spec as this black arion with the silver wheels etc ,i was just so glad that they turned up ,in all the years i have sent stuff with royal mail that is my only bad experience with them ,so they not that bad really,

vvvvvvvv look below here at my banner  vvvvvvvvvvvvv

  5. yes all my own work ,this was done before uh brought the black one out  :(  and a guy from Scotland on this forum will second what i am saying because i did one for him months ago,i did two tractors for him and they got lost in the royal mail postage system ,so i bought this uh 640 arion to replace  one of the lost tractors ,paint it black and then to send to him,,,,,some weeks later the two tractors turned up undamaged (surprised at that i can tell you)and he was over the moon with the work i had done for him  ;D ;D ,,,,,meanwhile i had this uh arion 640 on my hands so i thought what the hell while it was striped  down , paint it the same colours i did his ,,,then low and behold uh brought a black one out :( :( :( ,,,,,any how  if any one wants it please pm me it not stopping hear (did you know i really do not like working on  uh tractors because they are the devil disguised as die cast  >:( )

i think that just about explains it  ??? ??? ???

  6. lee great topic ,i must admit i am as green as grass when it comes to the real things ,apart from i have painted a lot of real ones ,and these guys here have probably forgot more than i know about real stuff like this ,some things are just nice to be explained to you and this forum is just the place for that ,

great reading for me  :) :)

  7. you know i carnt even see siku going much further with these because they don't sell ,i know a lot of siku deals and they have had these in stock since they came out ,as for price i heard a

    " rumor"

that a lot of siku deals had complained to siku about the price of the trucks so siku reduced the cost price ,but then some of the dealers never past it on to the retail price ,"just a rumor"

i pay £42 inc vat so why are they all still sat at around £70 ???

siku direct ,David Davis in the uk is about the cheapest at £56.90  and he has a good postage price were its one charge of postage

  8. Hey Peter how long before we get a Eddie Stobart one?  ;D

never ,to many die cast toy companies doing them ,i am just interested mainly in the companies in this area unless some one approaches me to do there livery ,there is a big truck show down the road from here at the end of this month and i will be approaching some of them with my concept of having the trucks done in there colours 1,2 or 20 of

  9. I definitely think a new set of boots would make a considerable difference to this toy / model. Yes it appears to have all the chunky playability of you'd expect Siku to incorporate, but, doesn't look nearly as refined as the McCormick TTX, Massey Ferguson 8680 or Claas Xerion. I think i'll pass on this one and wait for the Britains version to arrive.

i think the only way it might make it look a bit better if i had one of those "big white cigarette's " you get from Jamaica then and only then it might look better to me ,,,,only one problem i don't smoke  :( :( ,, or on the other hand i might just get one and paint it mat black with mat black wheels  just so it does not stick out in my collection ,

sorry lads i am not going to dwell on this much longer ,just really disappointed with it  :( ,,,,,,, just a note if all you guys are replacing the wheels on this model give me a shout because i will put them to good use ,,,good price paid  ;)
