Couple of v. nice tractors. A 65 4wd - nice.
Pity about the worms on the silver cab metal.....

Saw the sun for a few hours yesterday

Cleaned out the pond - new filter, some new fish and we're ready for spring - if it arrives.

Rip off fertiliser prices.

Flitting round with the quad spraying thistles & nettles - bloomin' freezing.
-
Lovely tractors, Blake (and good photos)
What is the 35 with the silver chassis?
-
My fault Johnny really... I ordered the tractor in late January... and the loader a couple of weeks ago
The tractor could have come 'loader equipped' so I've created a lot more work this way
As for pics... I'm off out in a few minutes for a trip to pick up some more 'test waste' - watch this space
Probably those cack handed MF fitters will scratch all your nice new paint too.
-
I'll look into this lightbar business... anyone know a good manufacturer of one
I use these...not too expensive in case of low branches, very bright, and they seem to last OK.
-
Been spraying all week but had a blitz on fertiliser today.

Great read and good photos.
A bit herbicide will give a better yield this year too.
-
Good to see it in your yard at last It does look tidy.
Sensible not going for the Dyna box too and nothing wrong with those wheels for roadwork. Wot no front suspension?
Agree with Gav - get a lightbar

If you're like me and hang things from string etc. when painting - and usually end up in a mess. So I bought a cheap cake decorator's turntable and made this from chopsticks and scrap timber. The other bit is from Satay sticks, for spraying wheels. Just push the chopstick into the hole at correct height and spin away.

The best place to get them, posted and painted is off of me
True!
I'll quote you on that when I need a set
-
Put the last of the nitrogen on the W. Barley - a bit sticky in places, but it's done.
-
Great photos Johnny. Can anyone with a tractor just turn up and enter or are there 'safety' limitations?
-
Lovely old girls there....the Lanz is really a classy machine.

So you're going to be responsible for the demise of that damsel in distress (the 2640) by not rescuing her - Marky killed a Massey! ;D

I'll just rub it in for you now John - its lovely day here and pictures of guys cutting silage in the farming press ;D
You eager to get spraying the wheat
We'll get our revenge later in the year
Not eager, but the work is starting to bunch up a bit now with SB coming into the workload.......

They bring back memories - not all good. Those bits of machinery still don't make much at sales unfortunately.
The wuffler may have been a Bamford in that colour although they were all classed as *** Pheasants.
