  6. Welcome to little holland farm, my mini dio not a patch on many of the dio's on here but I'm pretty proud none the less, still quite a few little touches to do to reach perfection, I'll start with a brief history of the unit. Little Holland farm was a family sheep and small beef herd grassland unit of about 105 acres, it was handed down to me by my father last year, but due to me not really having an interest in the sheep and the unit needing to spend several thousands of pounds to improve cattle handling facilities and slurry/manure storage to keep inline with current legistation most of the land was sold off to a neighbouring large dairy/arable farm apart from approx 10 or so acres surrounding the unit, the farm itself and my house which is about 500yards down the lane from it, the money from which was used to pay off outstanding borrowing on the farm, I now work on the neighbours farm which rents the unit to keep dry cows and replacements heifers on, with me looking after them and tractor driving on their farm when required, so from time to time you might see different tractors from the two old ford's we kept back from our sale, if I've spent a day in the seat and brought it back with me.
  7. Hmmm Claas the thinking farmers tractor, nice collection Paul
  8. cool looking good, like the kv plough convo and the big deere on the drill, although you might want to remove the dead bloke in the hedgerow looks like he's been there a while as rigamortis has set in

  10. NIce, could Claas become the new john deere? i.e. the it tractor
  11. Yep no money we have approx £100 in the bank, no money/ backup collaterall to fall back on, for the last two weeks I have been paid in parts for my car ( I work for a used subaru parts specialist and drive an Impreza) but like the rest of the world I have outgoings and can't afford to be paid 'in kind' as it is, I have suggested down sizing or even folding the business ( we are several thousand pounds in debt ) but just get accused of not being a team player, I'm not the one who's burying his head in the sand hoping it will all sort it's self out, hopefully something will come from the job applications I have sent out
  12. The lump on my head and banging headache have reduced after a customers car bootlid tried closing on my head yesterday due to a strong gust of wind blowing when I was loading a couple parts into their car,

  17. to be honest Tris I didn't bother because I paid less than £1k for the car, and although the bumper is cracked and the offside front foglight was broken, it could probably be plasty welded togethor, I work for a used subaru parts specialist so I've already done the foglight, but I expect if an assessor were to view my car they'd probably write it off saying it needed a new front bumper, which with the labour and paint spraying would probably end up more than 3/4's the value of the car, not worth the hassle imho just really annoying the ignorance of some people
