  1. Carting soil 5 miles up the road with new tractor (JD 6230) and new easterby trailer (12 tonne). Had the trailer 3/4 full, thats all the tractor could manage. Trailer is double axle on super singles and could have taken a lot more weight, good trailers they are. Dont think i was very popular on the road as only managing 6 mph up hill!!! busy roads too round croydon and Addington if anyone knows that area. Have got a few photos when i get a chance

Have found this picture on farmphoto..... I'm sure there was a discussion about a similar model found on ebay a little while back as to is existance in real life. Couldn't find original topic. http://www.farmphoto.com/fpv2/message.aspx?mid=4332
  3. Rowing up grass to be baled. Was going to be dumped as had to be cut and cleared but has bee so warm this week its made a bit of average hay, someone will buy it ;D.
  4. See your point, The loader way must be easier
  5. Thats a good way of doing it! Not sure if i'm being stupid but have never used such a set up... Why can't you hitch two together then reverse the last one to the pair, thus only having one to reverse at a time?
  6. Are you going to be stocking them and whats the rrp on the long reach komatsu?
  7. I think i fancy that long reach demolition excavator, looks more detailed than others avaliable More expense!
  8. Went out with the mower today, 30 acres cut in total and will bale it later in the week. :o am i the first then? Also had the new tractor today JD 6230. First tractor that iv'e driven with front suspension and what a difference it makes! Also its quick, 46K on the road . Have got some pictures which i will post when i get a chance.
  9. Good pictures, what are the advantages or reasons for having a set up like this? Why not keep tractor with axle and tow sprayer, seems like a waste of a tractor to me.

LOVLEY! ;D Awkward to get in and out, uncomfortable and noisy to drive but a very reliable tractor. Spent many happy hours driving one of those when i was younger!
  11. Thanks Marky a good read! I want to do something similar with the whole of my collection, picture of model and tractor annd a little information about both. Want to end up with an A5 booklet or something similar. Trouble is finding the time to do it. I always enjoyed driving the 2720 years ago, this was then swapped for a 3690 which was a super tractor, even more of a beast! Could you do the same for the 3690 sometime?
  12. Cabinets and lights look great as does that part of your collection! My only suggestion is to put mirrors in the back of the cabinets. Looking forward to seeing more pictures
  13. Fabulous!! More pictures please. Looks like you've got a fair few models in the background as well, get some pictures of your collection too Oh and welcom to the forum, hope you enjoy yourself and don't get into trouble by spending too much time on here.
  14. Spent most of last week harrowing and rolling grass Only got the one photo though when i jumped out for a pee , flat out for the rest of the time.
  15. Have had a busy week. Lots of grassland harrowed and rolled. Also a fair bit of direct drilling grass seed done.
  16. The car that tried to overtake me on a narrow road while i was driving along with a wide set of harrows. Needless to say the car didn't make it and ended up with 3 large scratches all the way along it! The car then stopped infront of me so i got out and was told look what you've done to my car!!! I was then told that he was a gypsy and he was going to break my jaw! After a bit of arguing and telling him to get his filthy hands off me i was about to reach for the hammer in the cab when one mention of the police made him and his mate drive off. ****@RS!!
  17. Thats very obvious now youv'e told me! [ Cheers mate
  18. Yes thats right go to real farm talk, tractors and search for richo. The topic is there, any help in posting links is appreciated as i cant do it by the looks of it .
  19. I really only collect 1/32 models but think the detail on the Conrad is so much better. Not sure how out of place it would look, what would you say?
  20. Very nice, how have you made the brass adjustable links on the discs?
  21. I think i'm going to leave that as it is now. I want to do another one but change the front axle to a correct steering type. I will then add more detail such as controls, lights, numberplate and steps. Once i've done that i think this first one will end up on ebay. If i remember correctly wheels and tyres are from a Britains NH 6635/TL80 tractor
