  1. A few questions for you... The yellow corgi 1210, I know of the white and green versions but yellow? Is it a conversion or was it produced? The Conrad and ertl equal wheel versions (can't remember the model numbers). How do they compare next to one another? Is the Conrad one noticably smaller as it 1/35?
  2. A bit of a DB fan then!? I too have a soft spot for them, would love to see some closer pictures of them all!
  3. The two tall cabinets were bought and the other one was made by myself. Mostly collect tractors but do have a few bits of machinery, think i will be addin g to the machinery collection having seen the new UH stuff! ;D
  4. Nice bit of ploughing there! Is that beet ground with wheel marks like that? We always ploughed our beet ground crossways on so as to keep it level. Was a bit frustrating sometimes with very short runs.
  5. Actually came from a deutz, seat has had arm rests removed. They were left over from a JD conversion which i had the wheels for. Looking at the position of the throtle from that angle i might move it forward a little.
  6. Had some spare wheels etc so thought i'd use them up.
  7. Went there a few years ago with a group of mates, when we turned up there were so blokes looking like idiots in leather etc, we had a good laugh at them and picked up our trays and went towards the intermediate run. We had a great time racing and running each other off the track. After a few runs we went towards the advanced run. We set off in the same carefree way we had been but soon realised why those 'idiots' were wearing leathers! Sitting 2 inches above the concrete on a plastic tray going far to fast down the track there was a hump ahead. Before i could do anything i'd hit the hump and was flying through the air holding on to the tray for fear of loosing lots of skin on the concrete. Somehow i managed to stay on the tray and make it safely down to the bottom. ;D
  8. I like that a lot, brings back memories as it was the first decent tractor i drove. Started my tractor driving with a David Brown 885! DB was a good reliable tractor but lacked any comfort! The mirrors are spot on, what are they from, or how did you make them? Just to finish it off make a set of steps for each side. Can't wait to see it finished!
  9. Someone has been very patient cutting all those seed hoppers! Looking great
  10. Thats looking good! I like the air cleaner. Are the 3650 decals your own as i've never managed to reproduce tractor number/names to a high standard. Any tips? I would like to make some water slide ones some time.
  11. HOW MUCH :o http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Britains-Ford-8730-Tractor-Flotation-Tyres-boxed_W0QQitemZ330084249443QQihZ014QQcategoryZ117196QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  12. Think the tractor might survive another rollover but would the driver?
  13. The amazing thing is people must pay that much for some of those items othrewise surely he wouldn't keep listing them! \
  14. A stunning collection you have there!
  15. What a varied collection you have there! I like it. Looks like you are running out of room fast though!
  16. Another superb model from you! I always enjoy looking at your models, so life like! :) I am planning on having a go at the Landini on a UH chassis,. Do you know where i could get the Joal Landini from, and also did the bonet come off the Joal version easily?
  17. Super pictures mate, have to aggree about the first one being the best. :)
  18. Thanks for all the nice comments, I think it is worth spending a little time and money displaying the models as it brings out the best in them and because i enjoy them more that way. It,s a shame that at the moment I haven't got room to have the UH Krone Big M and X out of their boxes. As requested I have taken some pictures of the 1884 but will post them in YOUR MODEL VEHICLES in the County section. Enjoy.
  19. It might not be a manly model but i have to say it is my favourite Valtra model!
