I think i may deserve a numpty as I was basing my judgement on this picture.... I was under the impression that they were white and not light grey! oops :D My one is light grey, same as everyone else?
-
Have got this model in a standard box now and am pleased to see that the wheels and cab roof are grey instead of white now!
-
Have just received one of these and i have to say what a good detailed model, am pleased! The opening toolbox lid is a nice touch! Only one problem with it is when you move the front wheels to full lock one comes of the ground but not as badly as the MF 5480.

Brian Norman MF1200 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150219425723&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=005 :o These are still avaliable aren't they? I bought mine from Toytrac last year for the normal price of ?120. Glad I have got one if they are going to make this sort of money

Hi Paul, am I right in thinking that you've got the 1/32 Komatsu excavator in the old colours in the top left of the free standing cabinet? Any chance of some close ups of that one as I'm half tempted by one as I like the old colours. Is it worth the money?

I missed this topic the first time round but glad I looked at it now. The models are superb as is the layout and the way in which you have taken the photos is great. I really had to look twice at them to decide! Nice work!!

I have several questions.... Which company made the white box like cabs that were fitted to the 1174 and 1184 tractors? Which ford tractor was the 1174 based on? I know that only 20 1884 countys were made but does anyone know how many 1174s and 1184s? Cheers Richard

Feburary 2008 Classic Tractor
richo replied to Deerepower's topic in Brochures, Farming Books and Magazines
Bloody post... I only got mine today! Have to say though it looks like another great issue. I esp like the picture on the front cover and also the one of the DB 1210 pulling the 4 wheel trailer on page 28. Looks like i,ll be having a lazy weekend reading it! ;D -
Yep its a good detailed model and now is a good time to buy it. I bought mine when it was first released and it cost a good bit more than you can get them for today. I think it could be the only model i have got in my collection that has gone down in value, but i dont regret buying it. Any ideas why these dont seem very popular?

That looks great! I read the title and was expecting a different cab or something... Not a diffrent colour!! Smart -
The delivery driver from tnt dropping a package from waist height onto the van floor because he was too lazy to bend down!! The box was covered in tape marked fragile, when i asked him if he could read the abuse started, it's amazing how long it took me to sigin for it when all he wanted to do was go home ;D . Before signing for it i wrote a detailed account of how my parcle was treated on his form.... the pen was snatched out of my hand and he stomped off.

The tractor pulls it ok but she is a bit steady up hill ;D. The grab on the front normally scares the overtaking cars, when they realise they can't cut in as soon as they thought ;D

Two more photos, first of the baler. Just about finished, he is re-baling 3 bales where only 2 of the 4 strings were tied. The othe one is just a random one of my 11 month old lab

Suprisingly good considering it was a little late had been flat before it was cut and had a shower of rain on it! It always looks better once it is in the bale though! Had a busy day yesterday between the 6 of us but got everything that was lying baled befor the rain came late last night. First thing i went out with the tedder to move about 40 acres of grass for big bale hay later in the day, the clouds wer every ominous but just about stayed dry then turned into a lovely evening. The others went out and rowed up, round baled and carted 100 bales of hay. Then when the boss started to rake the 2 fields that i was tedding the others managed to row up, bale and cart 500 small hay bales. I then spent the rest of the day loading and carting the 200 big bales. Here are several photos

Last two for now, will have to take some pictures of our new mower, 3m Krone. The previous a kuhn mower was only 2 years old but the bed and the gearbox parted company loosing most of the oil in the process :o

Been busy mowing and tedding for the last few days but here are a few pics of us doing some hay in one of the royal parks for the Queen's horses. baled and carted into the barn 2500ish in one day
