  1. Thank you Mark, yes it is, the only things that I haven’t built are the people
  2. Thanks very much Justin, I appreciate that
  3. I know it’s a bit early to be thinking about hay time, but it’s never too early to get the gear serviced 😉
  4. That’s going to look really well when it’s done Mark. With regards to your paint problems, I can’t recommend highly enough Hycote or Halfords own brand (which is made for them by Hycote). I always try and use it whenever possible and I’ve never once had a problem with the paint reacting, even though my hands aren’t always the cleanest when I’m painting models!
  5. The rollers are made from copper tubing Jack. I was going to make them from styrene sheet but I couldn’t get a neat enough roll, then I came across some pipe from an old heating tank that was exactly the diameter I needed. The ends were made up for it and then it was wrapped with thin styrene to allow the slight overlap at the end of the drums without it looking too chunky
  6. A model I’ve been wanting to build for ages now, a set of Watson hydraulic folding grass rollers. I’ve rolled many hundreds of acres with a set of these, so thought it was about time I got them done!
  7. We used to have something very similar Paul, it was an old door with two posts nailed to it so the door sat on the link arms and the posts ran under either side of the rear axle of a Dexta to hold it in place, used to use it for mucking out calf boxes and carrying the muck to the midden. I learned to drive when I was nine, Dad just plonked me on the Dexta with a set of chain harrows on the back , set it off for me and then jumped off. Looking back it probably wasn’t the safest thing to do, but I survived and I’ve been driving tractors ever since, so I suppose it worked!
  8. Thanks very much Paul, the models have dried up at present as we’ve been lambing the past month, but hopefully I’ll be back to them again shortly!
  9. Thanks very much Paul, I don’t seem to have as much time to get on here of late, but I still try to post a little when I get the chance
  10. Thanks very much Callum👍
  11. And the Roadless 120 and 118’s finally finished off
  12. A couple of Triffitt grain/silage trailers done
  13. Cab should be the same size
  14. To my eye, the only manufacturer who managed to make the 9/1056 look accurate has been Britains. We’ve had a few of the real things over the years and to be honest Britains captured them well with the long, low bonnet line that characterised them. Sean hit the nail on the head, it’s far too similar to the 12/1455’s , but then I suppose they have the tooling for those so it was bound to happen
  15. Out with the old, in with the new😉
  16. Thanks very much Ian👍
  17. 120 Roadless almost done, front wheel weights, wiper and a little weathering to add, and a small batch of 118’s nearing completion
  18. Dragged the old girls out to move a bit of topsoil 😉
  19. Thanks very much Simon, I am hoping to do some more, but it’ll probably be later in the year before I get to them I would think 👍
  20. Thanks very much Barry, I must admit I’m quite fond of her myself
  21. JCB 412 and attachments finally finished
