That’s going to look really well when it’s done Mark. With regards to your paint problems, I can’t recommend highly enough Hycote or Halfords own brand (which is made for them by Hycote). I always try and use it whenever possible and I’ve never once had a problem with the paint reacting, even though my hands aren’t always the cleanest when I’m painting models!

Tidy, what did you use for the actual rollers? I’d like to make a set of gang rollers at some point.
The rollers are made from copper tubing Jack. I was going to make them from styrene sheet but I couldn’t get a neat enough roll, then I came across some pipe from an old heating tank that was exactly the diameter I needed. The ends were made up for it and then it was wrapped with thin styrene to allow the slight overlap at the end of the drums without it looking too chunky

We used to have something very similar Paul, it was an old door with two posts nailed to it so the door sat on the link arms and the posts ran under either side of the rear axle of a Dexta to hold it in place, used to use it for mucking out calf boxes and carrying the muck to the midden. I learned to drive when I was nine, Dad just plonked me on the Dexta with a set of chain harrows on the back , set it off for me and then jumped off. Looking back it probably wasn’t the safest thing to do, but I survived and I’ve been driving tractors ever since, so I suppose it worked!

Great update John, more fantastic builds there, those Triffits look a nice job and your 118s are just 👌
Thanks very much Paul, the models have dried up at present as we’ve been lambing the past month, but hopefully I’ll be back to them again shortly!

Thanks very much Paul, I don’t seem to have as much time to get on here of late, but I still try to post a little when I get the chance

To my eye, the only manufacturer who managed to make the 9/1056 look accurate has been Britains. We’ve had a few of the real things over the years and to be honest Britains captured them well with the long, low bonnet line that characterised them. Sean hit the nail on the head, it’s far too similar to the 12/1455’s , but then I suppose they have the tooling for those so it was bound to happen

Fantastic work! Obviously I really like the IH stuff! Still after a 674 if you're doing any more?
Thanks very much Simon, I am hoping to do some more, but it’ll probably be later in the year before I get to them I would think 👍
