Ah yes, the ravages of old age, I can sympathise on that, I have those problems myself edgeing close to my 70th year, I was wanting to comment on the incredible texture you achieved on your big bales, but could not find the picture I saw the other week so couldn't comment, ( in case it wasn't actually you ),
Regards
Joe.
I’m a good way behind you Joe, but it definitely feels like everything is heading the wrong way now🙈 I did put some pictures with bales up recently, not sure if these were what you were thinking of

Thank you Joe, I really appreciate that. I’ve said before that I’m my own worst enemy as if there’s detail there I like to try and incorporate it into a model, even though most of the time the only person that sees it is me! I do know I’d be lost now without my glasses and my tweezers mind😂

Looks great mate.
I remember seeing photos of a whole fleet of them fitted with goose dump trailers on a 5th wheel on the neck, then later replaced with the newer style in the china clay quarries in Devon and Cornwall. I will have to see if I can find the photos
Thanks mate, funnily enough I was just looking at that first picture in a book this morning, I think I need a yellow one now with a goose neck trailer to keep it company🤣

Looks great John. I’ve never got back to starting the header reel on my jd 730. You’re a better man than I ! 😂
Hello mate, how’s things with you, nice to see you’re still in the land of the living 😉 Thanks for that, all these light mornings during summer have their benefits 😉!

Some progress seeing as it’s rained all day! I’ve changed it slightly as I’ve decided to do the updated version with the roll frame, stepped engine cover and extra radiator intakes under the cab. I’m also making the wheels removable so that I can swap between thin or wide depending on what job it’s doing
