Been out since 6 loading lorries with rubble using the jcb 436zx loading shovel, still another couple of hundred tons to load, but by 8pm our fuel tanks and fuel bowser was empty, so will hopefully get a delivery either first thing tomorrow (hopefully) or some time Monday, need to get the site cleared by Wednesday for stage 2 of our contract, stage one was demolishing the building, stage 2 is building another... So will hopefully get my mad mass excavating skill shown to all the old boys,

Was reunited with my jcb js145w today as she's been having engine problems... She also had a bit of surgery while she was away, cab guard rack fitted on her roof, a full handrail around her rear, and a few other bits and bobs, then went out for a meal with Carly for our ninth valentines day, now sitting watching a load of DVDs... Definetly turning soft

85mm fell in around 4 hours this morning, then turned to rain as it got into the afternoon... It's amazing how much snow you can clear with a Volvo loading shovel

Been a weird day, first went out and looked at a couple of potential jobs, then went on to our largest job we've got going at the moment, realised today how much machinery the company I work for actually has, found out the company owns 2 cat d7's, a 2008 model and a 2011 model, a 2012 volvo L180G loading shovel, 2 Volvo EC460C's and a long reach JCB JS220... Some money's worth of machines anyway,

Not much, but have signed a cheeky little contract, I'm now head plant operator for the company I've been working for, my duties include, operating plant, sourcing, purchasing, supplying plant and machinery, the pricing of jobs and various other bits and pieces, company car, which is a rather nice mitsubishi shogun, happy days

A load of warning lights came on in the js145w and jcb won't come out until Friday, and the fact some absolute a*** hole smashed a one of the 8085zts windows, luckily the insurance covers that, but its just an inconvenience, -
The price of bikes these days is mental, my kona was £560 and my downhill mountain bike was £(something thousand)750. Was probably the most stupid thing I've spent that much money on, time I've paid for tyres, puncture proof tubes, helmet all my protective gear, and all the rest it soon mounts up, then theres fuel, sometimes accommodation aswell, costly hobby

You would think after breaking your left arm at 16 doing a stupid jump, right arm at 18 while crashing into a tree and then at 21 breaking both arms, 3 fingers, collar bone, a couple of toes and splitting my head open in 3 places I would pack it in, surprised im still with Carly after her saying if I hurt my self again doing stupid things she would leave me, that was 9 years ago... Must be doing something right
