  1. Meant to post this last night but was tired and forgot..... Having a play with a Fendt 936 yesterday
  2. If its like the others they've brought out in the past year or so Barry it'll be 6 to the case, used to be 12 before that
  3. If the Arion range had another 10-15hp I'd certainly be interested to see it, as it is at the minute they fall short of the power range we're looking at
  4. I've not looked at it to be honest Paul but if thats the case its more than likely the Axion
  5. I knew it wouldn't be long before you found pictures of them Atte, we'll have to set you a harder challenge next time ;D Looks like there's some more good tractor releases coming though
  6. There's also a vario version of the Arion range due anytime according to our dealer here so could be either of them really
  7. The Ros Grimme GT170, will finally give me a lot of the parts I need to finish the Standen Enterprise I started making a while back, the Grimme Rexor and the UH Monosem drill.......for now, sure there will be more as the year progresses
  8. Hi Nick, welcome to Farm Toys Forum, usually referred to as the mad house, hope you enjoy your time here Unfortunately I don't think we have our own version of Forage Trader on here but I'm sure you'll survive ;D Gav
  9. My boss, in times when people are jumping on the band wagon about spraying he's been out applying liquid fertiliser in winds gusting at 50-60mph, yes you can put it on in a little wind but this is beyond a joke and asking for trouble in my opinion. Also the furrow press (aka spawn of satan), its currently dumped three quarters of the way across a field where I got so annoyed with it I wouldn't use it on the rest of the field, its 30+ years old and completely knackered but they won't replace it
  10. Nope, we know the fuel meter isn't 100% accurate on it but no matter what we done with everything in the computer we couldn't get consumption down to match the others. I even left off at a reasonable time today as I'd had enough of driving it for the day
  11. They haven't just left me to it Marky, had someone out for two hours this morning with me, incidently my predecessor at the farm who now works there and he's also going to call in again tomorrow and see how I'm getting on with it
  12. Yes they are all around the same price Sean despite a certain dealers trick of pricing a base spec model to be cheapest.......didn't bank on me rumbling what he was up to and speccing it up to match the others
  13. I think there will be some talking to do between the two of us before we get to that stage somehow
  14. Thats exactly the problem Jack, the basic frame of the tractor and cab dates back to the 90's, they're way behind the times with features and operator comfort. The 7530 has to be the noisiest new tractor I've had on demo, it rattles like a bag of spanners at certain revs and is still thirsty despite more tweaks today, 29-32 ltrs an hour downhill and 30-35 uphill
  15. Yes Josh I am We have two dealers nearby Sean, one I wouldn't want to use on principal
  16. It was a T7030 Auto Command, there's some pictures in this topic from around last April/May time of it. Was that the Dowdeswell set up they had a Lamma you had a go with? Definately no Deutz Simon, just no demand for them round here, other than one farm and a sanitation firm I know of no one else locally with them.
  17. The New Holland is my favourite, everything just felt "right" when I was in it, not had that same feeling with any of the others really.
  18. Tried it both on and off, still had the same fuel usage readings And the last set of test figures I saw in this bracket the New Holland came out on top for fuel economy
  19. Yes its all set up right Ricky, I spent quite a while playing with it this afternoon trying to get it to read lower by adjusting whatever could be adjusted but it had the opposite effect. And don't you belive that your 6930 would drink less on that plough pulling that press on our land especially trying to match the ploughing speed I like to run at. 5 x 16 inch furrows and a twin row press is a hell of a drag on compacted beet land, when the press is released you can feel the whole tractor pick up, in those conditions its like pulling two more furrows on the plough.
  20. Delivery then hopefully, guess that would depend on what happens in the meantime though money wise \
  21. Looking to be just before harvest now for various reasons, just hoping mine will behave that long as its like driving a timebomb at present \
  22. I'll be trying for one, we have the Puma coming back for another demo as well, in the rep's words he's determined to get me to like the multi controller
  23. No, the dealer is pushing for a 7430 which they don't even keep in the demo fleet or hire fleet normally.......says it all really I think, I'm saying if we must go green go 7530 as I think it will be easier to trade on in a few years time rather than its less common sibling, with a price difference of approx £2500 its not exactly a great deal more for what we'd be spending anyway.
