  1. I hope that this is a 'to get back going' date, otherwise I will never be able to go again.  I know several folks who work for me wont be able to go either.  If it stays this date it would be a pity, as I can never get to any other shows.

Totally understand the venue change, it will be a bit of a gamble as to how many will go until the world gets back to whatever 'normal' will be......

Yes I was after a couple myself John, looks like we will have to get in quick if/when they are available.

I may be wrong, but I think there are 7500 worldwide, maybe only 1500 coming to the UK and are likely to be a good investment, so I would indeed get in quick, the low asking price may not last for long.....

Thanks for confirming that Andy. Is the 6600 different to the previous versions at all do you know? The pre release photos look like its going to be identical.

I am not sure to be honest, maybe someone with better connections could add more?  However there isnt much you could change versus the original, bar 4WD, which would involve more work etc etc.....

I wonder if that is to trade?

Yes the E27Ns are sold out in the trade, very quickly too.  I have managed to hopefully secure 12, but I will only believe that when I see them!  Due out in July, but again, as with everything at the moment, it could well drift from there....  Same with the 6600, though I am told this could be a continuation, not limited (like the re-release JDs), depending on sales.

I had the day off today and took a trip to Manns of Saxham.  And just as I had hoped the new Lexion 6900 has landed.  In fact it was still in a large delivery carton with a couple of others.  It took them 10 minutes to book it onto their system it was so new😆................Anyhoo I paid £175 for it and came home.  I wont get a chance to look at it properly till the weekend but it looks just the right size for my layout as I had hoped.

The box is nice but a bit misleading as one pic of it shows the nicer 1080 cutterbar with the slick split reel. The main pic shows the 930 which to be fair will all fit into my barn🙂

Im told this 500hp straw walker machine will actually see off the old hybrid 760 model which there are many of around here, very impressive!

I was there this afternoon picking my 2 up. Pity we didn't bump into each other.

I see most sellers are looking €80 to €90 for the prototype COUNTY TW30...that is double what i first payed for the 1474 & 1884 when they first came out and on slightly more expensive than the Marge 1884 !!!.  UH prices have jumped 100% + over the last 4 to 5 years.. Crazy .!!!

That's a bit cheeky as the RRP for them is no more than the current 1474 price.  The new new models though, are priced a lot higher than only a year or two ago.......

  7. The grain lids are a neat design, with bits of bendy material to insert with a special tool! However mine are staying in the packet for the time being.  The rams and hinges are tight and may need a little lube to stop breakages. Overall in some ways better than the Wiking 780 and in some ways not.

  8. Well I have taken one out of the box.  I must say MarGe on the face of it have done a stellar job.  Packaging is great and done with care, there are lots of great details. However,  no opening panels and unless I am being too careful,  the rear ladder doesn't even move. It's one if the heaviest 1/32nd models out there, so much diecast.

Well it would be nice to see Marge fit the standard ones on the smaller 6000 series.......................or do I have to do a very expensive convo with a Jag TT😄

We will have to wait to see what the 6*** TT s look like I guess.....
