Also from Newby Hall from the same seller and came out of the same collection a britains new holland on a wood plinth. Now the seller didn't know anything about this, but I bought it because it goes in my collection nicely and with my other couple of presentation models. Now I have seen one like this before I think on ebay, but didn't know anything about them, so after a chat with James b11jwd and a bit of investigation work by him he informed me that they were given out to the factory workers as a retirement gift as he knows a guy that has the same but with a TSA on instead of the 8560 so thanks James for the information. Does anyone else have one or a similar one? -

A few things picked up at Newby Hall tractorfest last weekend Britains new holland ls170 skid steer loader a cerberus mccormick cx 100 in gold for our Matt. Never seen one of these before and the seller said it was to celebrate 50 years of tractor production at Doncaster. It also came with a tankard, On the tankard though is a case cx 100 and a mccormick farmall and after a bit of googling I can't find much out, but 50 years was celebrated in 1999 and mccormick started manufacturing in 2000 so weather it was to celebrate end of one era and the start of another can anyone shed any light? -

Last Saturday was the young farmers county rally. I had been asked a few weeks prior if I would coach the longridge young farmers tug of war team.longridge is the team I pulled for many years ago. It's a junior team under 18 so a mix of boys and girls So I done 4 training nights with them and they went on to win against 7 other teams not losing a single pull so going through to northern area as Lancashire A. very happy
