  1. Very nice Paul thought you did will be investing in some soon I think!!
  2. Ooow I will be following this as I want to do one of these me self and have seen those Britains repo guards and wasn't sure what they would be like but now I will. Nice start.
  3. Not sure what that made but did you see what the platinum 3cx it went for a whopping
  4. Thanks. Yes do it haha I have two 690's my weathered one and a mint one but let's be realistic I don't think there is many of these without rust in this day and age!
  5. Very nice Paul. I see that does make it simple. Do like those rears too. Thanks hope you have a good New Years.
  6. Looking good Paul how will you level (Well not level but not but make it not so steep) out the bonnet would you do it at the front or at the cab end of the bonnet if that makes sense? I did mine at the cab end but just curious as to how you would do it?
  7. Know how you feel Sean I had my works do yesterday, started a 1 in the afternoon to watch Leicester City play Everton which we won 3-2 so after that it all went mental and got in about 2 this morning I'm officially never drinking again but loosing the bacon I would've gone mad hahaha!!
  8. Looking very nice Paul. Love that cable from the beacon. What size cable do you use it looks sooo small?
  9. Very nice JMC the 590 looks like the 590 turbo with that exhaust. Loving the 362 cracking little tractor!!
  10. That's true James no britains logo or even a label in the box like you sometimes get with a prototype model. I did win a while back an old ros excavator which was apparently stobart rail with no tracks, but that was definetly not genuine just stickers on the arm thinking this could be the same thing??
  11. Just seen this on eBay I'm guessing it's genuine by the paperwork but certainly one I haven't seen before!! Also don't know how to put a link up as I'm on me phone so just took a screenshot.
  12. Well I have been working in Exeter last couple of days. Last night I got finished what I needed and had just a bit of commissioning work to do this morning, run things up then head home. The chippy on site asked if he could borrow my cordless SDS drill. It's old and you have to really push hard to get the drill bit to click on. As I know how to do it I ask what size he wanted which was 7mm (luckily for me) then proceeded to put said bit into the drill. It works on a quick release system so I lined it up then instead of using the floor to push against I normally use my steel toe cap on me boot but as I went to push it, it was too far back and went straight through my f######g foot right between my blumin big toe!! Arrrrhh!! Was ok as first but sweet Jesus it hurts now!!
  13. Really want one of those loaders for my 590 and I'm sure they are worth every penny but they are rather expensive. Think I may stick it on my list for Santa!!
  14. Went to prestwold yesterday with my dad so he could do his red letter day I got for him for his bday. He drove an Aston Martin and a Nissan gtr(my choice for him) then went round on a fast lap in a Vauxhall monaro vxrs. Whilst looking round I found out that I could pay and do two laps in the gtr and my god the only time I actually looked down at the dash was on the straight and I was doing 165mph and still excelerating. We had a real blast whilst we were there definitly recommend it for a day out:)! Next I want to try the rally car session. Also got my car back now with my new springs and clutch on, now handles corners like no tomorrow but after driving the gtr got to have it remapped!!
  15. Haha yes but it's hard not to when the powers just there at your right foot! 19's that's huge I only have 17's!! Lucky bugger getting them cheap the one I replaced was on the rear so slightly wider than the front he said 199 at first so I said that's a bit much can you do it cheaper and after a few taps on the computer said il do it for 175, just wonder how many people go Yh ok and pay the full 200. The tears I have bridgestones but the fronts are pirrellis but I wish I had the bridgestones on the front as they have the over hang because the missus has kerbed the front left 4 times now from parking in the SAME spot and with them being painted it does look a mess!!
  16. I know what you mean Tyres are well expensive especially as I have run flats but had to use it once and they are great carnt even tell it's flat. My cousin has had two e30 touring and saloon and two e46 3 series shapes all 6 were petrol and he never had problems, think I was just unlucky with this one, well it did have 108,000 miles on it when I bought it and once the turbo went the more I looked it was common at this milage and to be honest the clutch probably would last but I can not stand the rattling noise it makes when pressing it. Just one of those things that bugs me I guess. I would like a petrol but it's the running costs as the missus does around 45- 50 mile a day so had to change to a diesel but a straight six would be nice one day, my friend has just stuck a massive turbo on his straight six so now that's pretty pokey!! :) even tho I have had a few problems with this one still think I'm going to stick with bm's now for cars:)
  17. Wow!! That is one of if not the best lorry build I've seen James the curtain is brilliant would love to do one of them myself for a britains artic. Fantastic the cab is so detailed too a real credit to you mate!!
  18. What is the DPF may I ask? Is it like the particular filter? It is a diesel, it's a 320d the pre LCI version with the better engine apparently but I have already had to change the turbo with did cost £1000. Now had a quote from me mechanic its £660 to change the mass flywheel and clutch which I didn't think was too bad but just seems an endless pot so far but once this work is done I will feel a bit more confident as I want to get a stage 1 remap and these are the two things that are most likely to go. Just looked it up and it is what I was thinking. Yes these can cause problems as they clog up and every now and then you have to give it a good boot to clear it out but I have just had mine changed in June so no problems as yet.
  19. Took my van to me local garage today to have its service and cambelt kit change. Also booked my car in to have me new springs fitted next weekend but a noise has appeared when pressing the clutch now which sounds like it's either the clutch bearing is going or could be the flywheel which ever it is the gearbox has to come out and is guna cost the best part of a bag of sand. Bluming bmw's!!!:( But I do love it it's so nice to drive
  20. Wow. What a cracking job you've made of that Sean. Fantastic work mate!!
  21. Nice couple of fords Sean. Looking forward to seeing your 699 as from what I have read across the forum the 699 is quite a tricky one to replicate!!
