  1. Went to Pembrokeshire last week for a weeks holiday and stayed in amroth. We stayed in a house right on the sea front which was great to wake up to every morning, but the best part was that once the tide was right out it left loads of rock pools with crabs and small fish in until we stumbled across a rather deep pool. The mother in law was paddling with me lad in this knee height pool when suddenly me lad shouts fish fish and when we looked its was a good ft long dog fish caught by the tide. So I decided to save it by catching it by hand and running it down to the sea . The bluming things got some strength too it nearly doubled back and got me could hear its teeth banging together. Ooow and there was loads of these too apparently because of over fishing so they grow huge then when they die they get washed up onto the shore!!
  2. Looks good Paul. I know it's meant for britains linkages but would be nice if the did make it an option like the replicagri ploughs to have it to suit both types of linkages. But you've done a good job looks like it fits well and I see it holds up well too.
  3. I made more progress on me drive after next door holding me back with the party wall act and surveyers!! Now as that has cost me an extra £3000 to have them in and put a retaining wall down one side I'm having to dig it out by hand meself. Been using a grab lorry to come and take it away then shovelling it to the front so he can do another load!! This was yesterday after the second load And this is after a hard days digging for me as I'm a A/C engineer. And yes that is my gas pipe which was nearly cut by the grabber, because it seems to have been layed high until about 3 ft from the front then stoops down to catch the mains in the road. So were I dug to find it it was miles down so I told him its fine pick it all up then luckily he spotted it!! Still the digging goes on!!
  4. Very nice Sean must get myself one of those loaders, same your cabbed 135 is brilliant!!
  5. Finally got me car back to be told it needed two new tyres on the rear but at £250 I have been looking on eBay for new wheels with tyres for it and got these with 6.5 mm tread all round. So picked the car up yesterday and wheels today. Drives like new and sticks to the road like glue too!!!
  6. That's fantastic Sean. Like the 575 with the loader looks good!!
  7. Vw all the way Jamie I've just got my second well company van but its mine if you know wot I mean! Only thing is the gear box on them but we've had 6 on our firm in the past and only one go other than that no problem what so ever. My last van had 192.000 n me bosses had 220.000 on the clock and we travel all over the country never once worried about it breaking down or owt!! :)my own car I got quoted £1900 from bmw to change the turbo so I said no thanks and got me local mechanic who does our vans to do it and he's doing it for £980 which is a rather large difference! Should be getting it back tuesday:)
  8. Well last October I got told to get rid of our Astra we had as it was burning fuel using around a litre a month. As we were looking for a new car I started looking at some bmw 320d's and ended up getting an SE 320d. We've had it since October last year and has been a great car, good on fuel in comparison to the astra which was a1600 peterol and fast as its the 163bhp, but this morning I decided to go get it cleaned inside and out as the missus is a right mucky pup! So now it's clean decided to take it to the local garage to check the oil/ tyrepressure etc and on the way to the garage all is a sudden there's a massive lack of power, seems like the turbo has gone arrrrhh!!!! So it's now at our local bmw for diagnosis but have been roughly told it will be around £1500 for a new turbo so fingers crossed its not the turbo but it has done 113,000 miles so looking very Likely! So weve sorted out a hire car for 2 weeks boping in this time it will get fixed!! How nice on a Sunday afternoon and just to top it off although it was last weekend the bluming washing machine packed up so that was another £250 out of pocket!!!
  9. I bet that's fun getting to have a go on big machine like that? Last summer on site the lads let me have a go on the little new holland they have would love to have a go on something that big!!
  10. Now they look interesting James looking forward to see progress on those
  11. I keep seeing models like that. They say conversion but I fail to spot the difference between the original model!!
  12. Haha yeah best present too!! After joining the "I hate" Christmas part earlier think I maybe changing my mind now haha!!
  13. My boss getting me a new transporter as the one I have is on 190,000 now. Should be picking it up Friday fingers crossed!!
  14. Well got a new phone from work last week great and its an iPhone 5s! Ive had me own iphone 5 for nearly two years and have looked after it too then only today whilst speaking on my work phone I recieved a text on me own phone, so get it out of me pocket only to drop it and smash the bluming screen! Carnt believe after how many drunken nights I've been on I drop it at work right onto the corner of the plynth the air con units are sat on arrrrhh!!!!
  15. Great photos it genuinely took me a couple of looks on the tw35 to realise there models and cracking ones at that!!
  16. An artic tanker, haven't made my mind up yet as to what it will be just yet!
  17. I know what u mean Paul I got pulled about two years ago now after two n a half pints, ended up with a years ban and £550 out of pocket but. Luckly I managed to keep my job luckly as i drive up and down the country all the time have learnt my lesson not even to have one now!!
  18. I have seen those on eBay like you say once a mistake but twice is just daft. I have noticed that things on eBay are going cheap and have been for the last month or so, the britains lorries that used to go for like£30 now go for less than 20. I won all this for £15.50 about a month ago and about a quarter of this would normally go for double the amount!!
  19. Today's job was to drive from leicester (where I live) to Lowestoft to rip out four air con units and a chiller unit out of an old thorntons shop to find out after a painful 4 hour drive (bloody road works!!) then spend half hour finding the job only to receive a call that we carnt get in the shop and that the work carnt be carried out as there are no shop fitters on site to then be told to drive all the way back again. Suppose it wasn't to bad least I got a fry up at whetherspoons and a trip to the seaside!!!
  20. Just checked sorry got it wrong its this karrena decal that threw me Both I have have got this decal on. Didn't realise they did the ready mix in the Iveco fiat thought it was just the Mercedes!!
  21. That's a brilliant collection you've got, must get that Orange County one day!! Are those readymix wagons all the same or are there any difference's between them? Didn't they do two types of the yellow autoway ones? I'm sure I have two versions of the autoway ones.
  22. It does fetch good money, I have been collecting britains landrovers for a while now and two of the road series orange county's poped up the other month both went for funnily enough £114. I thought I was in with 75 quid till the last second and was outbid!! One was with the white traffic trailer and the second with an autoway trailer!! Do any of you have one of these sets have only ever seen these two and one in an article in model farmer!! Just to add I was only born in 1987 so missed the best years clearly
  23. This is a great thread to follow. You don't see many people that collect autoway and road series!! I would love to but don't think my bank balance could handle it getting rather expensive these days!!
  24. Looking good jack detail on your layout is fantastic!!
