New store looks good, like the handling system too

The beauty of a laser cutter, total cut time for the entire model was 30 minutes so got two more cut out before running out of material, stocking up on laser cut parts as I leave college next Monday so will no longer be able to use it. Liking the 1/16th convos by the way, too delicate for me to attempt.

Drawings for the grab and spreader done.

Protoyping for a FC1174, wanting to make a trio of lime spreaders, theres a great photo of all three together on google and then a winching rig for my collection. Wont be the most detailed of models, paticularly the chassis but sould be nice and fast to build up and a good price too

£350 for 8 puts them at £44 each which doesn't seem to bad, however models never seem to make good money at auction, particularly not as a job lot.

I like that idea Mark, would work on 1/32 with smaller bolts too

Funny you should say that Paul as we almost bought one of Taylors fairgrounds Fodens, the scrapmans offer must have been better though as dad's since seen them in one of the Barnsley scrapyards. Cant be having any more purchases though as the garage is full now!

Having some really good fun on these two, the red garrett has been on here before, the blue garrett is a new purchase from the Cheffins Keeley Collection sale yesterday, although I think the Scammell Explorer in the sale would have been even more fun to have

This one has been on the bench for ages, finally finished and been abit of a headache to do. Some improvements made over the last curtainsider have been made which include improved curtain durability along with an overall stronger less fragile model. Booked on the ferry this week

Those look very nice Sean, does the stuff youve used for leaves have a name? As it cant be winter all year on Torrax Hill. One bit of constructive criticism would be maybe wider trunks on some as they seem abit thin, but thats just compared with what I see in my area

Dad went down yesterday as our 3" Burrell Traction engine is in the sale, if you see a short fat bloke bidding on all the rubbish at the end of the day say hello as that'll be him

The bit I don't get is they've gone to the bother of listing every model included, rare for a job lot like that, so why not actually have an individal listing for each, almost certain they'll sell better that way and probably make more money even with ebay fees taken into account

I don't have blue in my blood but I certainly enjoyed those photos, very nice indeed! Looking forward to seeing what you can do with a permenant display

Super, thanks Been doing abit of reading up on CNC routers and there looking like a good option for when I loose access to colleges laser cutter this summer. Cheaper, simpler and able to cut plasticard along with having a certain level of 3D ability

Cheers Sean, thought it might be, largely as you can't laser cut styrene. On my bench I've been trying out a few new squash moulds. Scania Topline roof pod and T cab bonnet. They've come out well but I need to refine the mould a little more to avoid a few air bubbles. Both of these parts should come in handy for some of my own builds and builds for customers.

That looks great Barry, don't suppose you know if its acrylic or plasticard/styrene and I how its been cut, laser or CNC router or something else?

Shouldn't have an issue with driving on the flock, once its stuck down, particularly with an applicator it isn't coming of again in a hurry once any excess has been brushed away. If it gets flattened down by the tyres I have a feeling going over it with a ballon rubbed on a jumper should have all the strands standing to attention again.
