  1. It's weird really how some folks favour rigids over piviots. I personally like the piviots because of the visibility and it's easier to load and unload things with them, you can piviot round abit when tipping grain into a trailer etc instead of shunting backwards and forwards like on a rigid \ \ Each to there own I suppose :
  2. Good luck in getting use to them then , saying that I can't get used to rigid telehandlers at all since I've been on piviot steers. You can hardly see anything on them rigids \ \ \

  13. I'm on about 4k/5k when baling cereal straw out of the big combines Never baled anything under 15ft cut :'( :'( Can fly through pea straw though, can get upto 15/18k on smooth fields ;D I think I'll weld up the pto this year to save changing bolts :D

  15. Not bad, is that in hay ??? What speed you at in straw, I have to crawl through straw out of 20ft axial flows otherwise I'm forever breaking shearbolts \ \

It's a big list but here is our hay and silage baling outfit, been at it since last Monday and only just finished a quarter of all the acres scheduled for baling :o Baling: MF 6180 on Taarup 307 Ford 7740 on Taarup 306 Case Maxxum 5130 on Taarup 306 MF 6180 on Kuhn GF 7601 Tedder Case 956XL Turbo on PZ haybob Ford 7740 on PZ haybob MF 6180 on Welger RP 202 Special round baler Case Maxxum 5130 on Welger AP 630 conventional baler and cooks sledge Loading and carting: Matbro Teleram with flat 8 grab and Fosters squeeze Ford 7740 with Quicke loader and Mchale Squeeze MF 6180, Case Maxxum 5130, JD 6900, JD 2140, NH TM 165 and MF 3125 on god knows how many artic and rigid bale trailers : I dare say we have the biggest conventional baling operation in Derbyshire ;D
  19. It's wet but still very, very humid :o I've been freezing my balls off in the tractor with the air con, I've had to get out for a warm on the odd occasion :D
  20. I'll take you all on with the old mans Merc AMG 55 ;D ;D Hit the clutch, hit the gear, hit the gas and I'm gone :D
