  3. thats ok civilpek i will be doing more in red or green,i'm also having a look at the silage trailer ,see if i can do anything with them, don't have one at the moment so not sure, but on order so won't be long hopefully, the wheels i'm going to leave, didn't find a good replacement, but will do some with float sometime
  4. got the basic idea farmer, just need to have a proper look at it,got 2 more to do so might try them, the problem i can see is the rear door would need to be held closed in order to allow anything to come out, holds ok with no weightas i cut close to the sides and make the hinge hole a tightfit ?,but not sure with a load in, so i need to work out a way of retaining the door closed?
  5. gone for the existing door for the moment, the grain shoot was ok to make if it didn't work and would have been ok to fix on but i felt it would be better if it worked ,still undescided ,so i'm looking into that possiblly for the next batch, what do you think would be better?

  18. hi guys heres my first atempt, not finished yet needs tow eye and a ram, does anyone know where i can get one or if one made of pvc pipe is possable,on the glue front a guy in the model shop after telling me they were sold out, suggested quietly that i use pvc drainage glue (stuff you use for bath/kitchen wastes) as it drips quicker and is cheaper for the amount you buy(tell your missis you can't finish the diy now) seems to work really well [attachment deleted by admin]
  19. hi I'm looking to do a bit of scratch building using white/black plastic(pvc?) you find in the modelshops.problem is they seem to recommend you use ordinary polystyrene glue which takes ages to set.has anyone used superglue on this sort of plastic ,and does it melt it /damage it ,i would normally just plough in but want to get it right first time with these(looking to make some general purpose trailers, low sided ones with drop sides, and a muck grab/silage grab for my frontloaders)any help appreciated sean

hi i've seen these while on holiday ,pretty big in italy, seem well built and in 1/16 scale, seem to do most things as well, saw a good selection of implements over there, bailers, tipping trailers and ground working kit, and several good combines, havn't seen much over here though.i think they are really aimed at younger kids,as they seem very stronglly built sean
