  1. i should be careful with comments like that or i'll have a norfolk cat chasing me ;D ;D
  2. nnnnooooooo don't go JD please try a different brand, wesrtern or krampe anything but that don't spoil the great work farmer :
  3. i know what you mean j mad,the biggest dealer up that way that i remember was l e tuckwell for j.d stuff , my uncle works for them,he never could understand why the farm always went for fergys, when the jd's were more popular,he was told they were more reliable, the jd1085 they had packed up once or twice a year in harvest but the fregy they had for the last 5 years never went wrong..would just be nice not seeing another new jd model for a while,
  4. hey j mad easy tiger,i have driven one and a jd combine (1085) long time ago now,and yes they were fine.it's just that there's more makes of tractor out there than j.d and all we seem to get now a days is j.d models,it's as if there forcing companys to do as they wish, just look at the colour arguments going on at the moment. just want to see more than jd case and nh,
  5. the one i saw had a similar hitch to the marstons, hook and pin on a pivot,as for the bales,i'm not sure but if i was to guess by the pics i've seen the jd bale looks smaller?hope i've helped with one part of your question
  6. i wouldn't buy a J.D to put it on if it was the last tractor in the world left to buy,way to many models of them round now ,cheap nasty things,HE HE HE ,
  7. thats one seriously good conversion fp,hows the swather going you posted a while back?
  8. but those missed nights were worth it fendt, can you give us the name and contact details of the guy/girl who made this please,i could miss the pub for a drill like that

  10. i have to say i've only seen green or mostly shades of blue, never a red, havn't seen it on anyones web pages in there collections either,
  11. here we go again what the bet, sell or not?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=741&item=6962205334&rd=1
  12. cheers ihp, never heard of that stuff, will have to look round for some
  13. ok now ihp stop using big words we don't understand ,what the hell is a polymorth front axel when it arround?????
  14. great looking bit of kit so far farmer,i don't think it's to high looks about the same as the pics to me,good work can't wait to see the finished item
  15. rob all i use for the plastic is a dremel with a fine disc cutter on it,doesn't do much damage to the plastic and allows you to follow the line /marks when you prep for cutting ,with reguards doing more, the 390t is a problem as getting complete 362's are difficult and a little expensive, the 3680 isn't to much of a problem as theres loads of them round, and the cab/mud guards are easily available so may do some more of these later on,390't 's may follow if bits are arround but i don't want to pay over the odds for the donor tractors we'll see
  16. might do,it's hard to come across the complete 362's to make the full job, possibillity though,i'm also looking at a 290 conversion based on a mf 595 chassis, with a duncan style cab, used to have one on the farm with a front loader,so thought i would give it a try
  17. it will be on a low loader fendt, thats my next project when i get time to do it,based on a iveco lorry body so should be long enough
