  1. County 1184 Forestry Commission tractor with terra tyres, Boughton winch and blade, weathered finish
  2. Hi Andy, sorry for the late reply. Thank you! I use a fast cast resin to get parts cured and ready for assembly quickly. The thin sections are a challenge and it really doesn't have anything to do with the resin, more about how you pour it into the mould and how to disperse any air bubbles. Thin sections are filled first when the resin is at it's easiest to pour. I try to use open one part moulds as much as possible and stretch the mould open to let the resin flow into it. It's all a bit trial and error to be honest.
  3. Industrial Roadless 75 commission featuring Boughton winch. This one is based upon a real tractor with minor changes applied.
  4. Further development of the Boughton winch featured on the FC1184 Highlander led to this 1184 conversion.
  5. I'm currently away until the 23rd September to look at things in the distance for a change :D hope to catch up with everyone again in two weeks. Ian

  6. Just finished this one-off for a customer, UH Fordson Major and Ransomes 2 furrow plough
  7. Another commissioned 1184, this one has Artisan 32 rubber tyres fitted to Britains Sankey wheel rims. Cab details feature a driver, reg plate, rear reflectors, scratch built mirrors, door hinges, radio antenna and a bigger roof vent decal at the front. A slightly larger County decal also applied below rear window.
  8. Very well done Martin, still to try weathering myself, but every time I see something like this it makes me want to dive in
  9. Absolutely amazing work John, can't get over the detail you have ploughed into this model, and the working parts to boot, absolutely fantastic!
  10. I have plans to build the Benson County, but it will need a long wheel base cab with bigger windows plus other minor changes.
  11. This had to happen at some point After making some changes to the UH 1174, I decided to develop a County 1184 bonnet and weights kit to fit the model. All should hopefully fit together via the single screw going up through the tombstone making the switch quick and easy.
  12. Some great additions to the collection Martin, very nice hope there wasn't any issues with fitting the lime spreader, was a tad concerned about the tail light stalks!
  13. I have the same brochure, County updated the FC1174 with the TW engine in 1980 as far as I know and made it the FC1184. Print wise, probably cheaper for them to update specs instead of designing a whole new brochure. Although Martin has a slightly different brochure to mine come to think of it.
  14. Very nice Zac, good straight example, health to enjoy
