Got these two yesterday,and I have to say that Schluter is excellent,I have a couple of ERTL Precisions,and it has them beat no problem And the Manu S IH 1455XL,I've been thinking about one for a while,must have been a big tractor in its day,145hp in the early 80's a nice challenge to build, Regards Joe.

This might sound daft,but the best place to get tiny 1.5v electric motors is, Oral B Pulsar tooth brushs,built into the handle is a tiny motor with an offset weight,that's what makes them vibrate,their not slow though,but,some of you r/c guy's might be able to gear them down a bit, Regards Joe.

Good thinking Sue,but it needs to be a reciprocating blade to catch the blades of grass,a straight blade like a wet shave razor would just slide over and cut nothing,a bit like trying to shave without touching your skin Regards Joe.
