  1. I would like to see Universal Hobbies produce a model 1/32nd scale Knudson 4400 hillside 4WD tractor, with working self leveling hydraulic's they used to be produced in 1/64scale,but surely that licence agreement would be up by now !! Regards Joe.
  2. I'm likeing that high tipping trailer http://www.agrartechnik-im-einsatz.de/de/index.php?page=view_picture&id=321715#anker Regards Joe.
  3. Cheers Bill, that's not to bad an idea, need to remember that Regards Joe.
  4. Told you those front weights would finish it off, cracking piece of work Johny Regards Joe.
  5. Well.got the beast in bits, the tyres/wheels are absolute rubbish,I split one of the tyres just removeing them ,their HARD plastic,to think I paid £45-50 on it about Ten years ago , but,it should make a nice convo, only thing is there's nothing big enough to go on the back of it But like I said,it'll be 2009 before it's finished, better buy some Christmas pressies before I lash out on bits for this Regards Joe.
  6. Hi Johny, thanks for that,I must have missed this when you posted it,I'll need to get the one with the twelve weights,I need 3cm. Regards Joe.
  7. Cheers, bought it years ago, when the only alternative was Britains, but I never really liked it,actually I gave it away to my cousin, but got it back off him yesterday, now with all the various web sites selling spares I thought I'd have a go at "pimping it up" Regards Joe.
  8. You should see the Lemken Zirkon http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&tt=url&intl=1&fr=bf-home&trurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.guszmann.at%2Fbernhard.php&lp=de_en&btnTrUrl=Translate Regards Joe.
  9. Hopefully in the New Year,I'll convert this into a proper tractor, rather than the big lump of diecast it is just now Regards Joe.
  10. These guys fit in the STX 450 and the JD 9420T http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Carrera-21106-1-32-Spectator-Figures-for-Scalextric-etc_W0QQitemZ220319437577QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Toys_Games_Scalextrics_Slot_Cars_ET?hash=item220319437577&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1298|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 Regards Joe.
  11. Hi Nick,no it's not an Apra D8,it is an EMD D9G with Kelly ripper,it was a kit,and a pig to build, smudged photocopied instruction, and no rear hydraulics for the ripper, got there in the end though http://www.constructionscalemodels.com/productdetail.aspx?recid=%206378 Regards Joe.
  12. Cheers guy's,anybody notice I put the original weight back on the 8040,but this time mounted on the front hitch so now it's removeable Yes JC they are Athearns, the only 1/50th scale tractors I've come across Regards Joe.
  13. Thanks for the comments,a lot of work certainly, but enjoyable,a lot easier than working on 1/50th scale stuff Regards Joe.
  14. Well, it's taken since September to finish this lot, infact the front mounted Kvernerland still needs it's decals, and I'll need to re-do the depth wheels, but those were the only one's I had at hand today,I've noticed in the short time I've been on this forum that quite a few guy's don't link front mounted implements, but if I was a farmer in this reccesion, high fuel costs etc,a 50% increase in production just by useing a front mounted plough would get my vote, just my 2 cent worth, all comments welcome Regards Joe.
  15. your a brave man Marky,I just put a few drops of white wood glue on top of my drums, and sprinkled some rough dust on top Regards Joe.
  16. Thanks for all the nice comments lads, looks like I'll need to get a tractor with a loader, need to be a Fendt with "proper" rear hitch to accept the PMA weight frame those drums are sitting on,hopefully I'll have my other two ploughing rigs finished tomorrow Regards Joe PS no workbench,no photos
  17. Hi Mike,I'm going to try this on a future project,I'm just hopeing it's not to thick at 2mm,but it is fairly cheap £2.34 for an A4 size sheet and it's covered in cellophane to prevent scratchs http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Selective-Installation-Materials_Clear-XT-Acrylic-2-12mm_2mm-Clear-XT-Sheet_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ241517019QQftidZ2QQtZkm Regards Joe.
  18. \ Way to complicated for me,I've just started in 1/32nd scale, but I do have another two ploughing rigs on the go,hope to get them finished tomorrow,I used to collect 1/50th scale mining equipment, did a couple of convo's here's one of them from three years ago Maybe some day,but that tracked MF just looks to tricky Regards Joe.
  19. How about the tracks off the John Deere 8430T Johny Regards Joe.
  20. It was tricky getting the tops off these drums to fill them with concrete but I think it was worth it,do these look ok,or in these days of "designer" front weights do these look naf Regards Joe.
  21. That's looking good Johny, must get a set of those weights ;) Regards Joe.
