  5. You need this: http://www.turfshop.co.uk/display_details/action/details/code/7/cat/1/subcat/3/ Turns moss black in 30 minutes, truly excellent stuff. Use it every year.
  6. Nice to see dry land.. Contractor Dave Marshall was having problems harvesting land-locked fields on Edward Muntz's Umberslade Estate, nr Hockley Heath near Solihull because the fields were so saturated. The combine was moving - because it is on tracks - but the difficulty was getting the grain out of the field. He solved it by hiring in a Bell B30D dump truck which has a capacity of about 30t but very low ground pressure. The machine is pictured here working on 14 September. Andy Jenkins, from the firm who hired the truck, said: "The machine, even when loaded with a higher capacity load than I was told their conventional tractor and grain trailer could move, barely left a mark on the soft ground in their fields. It certainly didn't cause ruts or get bogged down (or risk overturning) as a standard tractor/trailer outfit would have done."
  7. Y'all cant see the wood for the trees! ( Jus jossiun yo thar li'll Tris! ) The test load Fendt 936's are fully ballasted and have had their tyres turned so as to create maximum traction backwards..... Those two are there to hold it back. (Obviously) Fendt being feindishly clever (don't know for sure but I'll wager a few cases of Grolsch on it!) have probably tapped into the trailer 936's Vario software and are measuring torque by the back pressure / torqee backfeed from the Vario power split. (Re checked and note the brake lights lit on them!) So if it is requiring two 360hp Varios to give sufficient load then one can assume there is some serious traction potential with the concept.
  8. Now road registered. And it is still undergoing test and evaluation. It appears to have CTI and undergoing traction testing.
  9. Q? Is that a 'Redrock' Redrock feeder tub or a fully decalled Trolet?? Though Redrock only imported the Triolets as distributors and put small decals under the Triolet banner??

  17. Sad to say but Friends of Ferguson Heritage didn't do it justice - and it as not as if we are short of Massey's. Seems that the Big Blue throws better parties - even had their own beer tent so that's where I'm going!
  18. The world's premier event. this year a MF 50th theme - however sad to say it was a bit of a let down as nowhere near as good as the Ford & Fordson one from a couple of years back - that had pavilions, hundreds of tractors. Must try harder 5/10
