The bloke in the Toyota estate I met on a narrow lane, when travelling to a baling job with the 6180 and the Welger. Took him ten minutes to reverse 35 yds, couldn't turn his head and didn't know what his mirrors were for. Makes you wonder if he couldn't go backwards what was his standard of driving going forwards?

Looks as if someones been clearing out their spares box.

You have to remove the grill by pulling forwards, then the bonnet simply pulls up.

Just finished this one , a conversion of ERTL's AC8550 to a 7580, shortened and narrowed the bonnet, shortened the chassis, added grab handles , lights , a Siku linkage, a few details in the cab , new glazing and dual wheels.

Manual , not to bad to get the backactor off , used a trolley jack and a frontend loader only took two of us.

Nice pics , look at that TVT190, the way the cab top slopes and the sloping bonnet, looks like a bull with its head down ready to charge.

Yes, Leyland engine , not sure about the gearbox , just the standard one I think, best way to check the slew is a bit of heavy digging , mine started OK but the more I dug the more it slew to one side and refused to slew back.

I've got a 3C II , bought it about 10 years ago , cost ?1500 but been worth every penny since, mine wouldn't slew properly either , splines go in the kingpost, but a local firm can re-con them for about ?200. Worth giving that a good check out before you buy , make sure everthings working as it should.

model no's refer to HP and no of cylinders , ie. 6.175 , 6 cylinder 175hp.

Been surfing the web and found these pics on AGCO Argentinas web site , Massey type cabs and Deutz engines and styling, might be possible to build one from a 8280 or a 6290 model.

Yes , they were sold in USA both as an AGCO-ALLIS in orange and as a White in silver.

I've been trying to improve the Siku MF 9240, added a few details, mudguard extensions, lights, mirrors, cab details and glazing, don't really know if it works, what do you think?

Went to a vintage rally at Abergavenny this afternoon, snapped these , thought they might interest someone.

Somebodies just bid up to ?48 on the new MF1505 , another has bid ?21 on a MF 1505 listed by G&M, when just a few posts down they can buy it now for ?16, crazy or what?.
