  1. Hi Joe, I remember seeing a video of the history of Knudson hillside tractors before. I found it again, her it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-MAAtOeh5U
  2. Hi, This is really stunning, what a marvelous job you've done here!!!! Excelent that it is possible to put it down an hillside, and have the unit be in the right angle!!! This is a piece of masterwork!!!! Best regards, Jan
  3. Hi all, As far as i'm aware, i don't know whether the manufacturer sells the files. On his website you only find the (printed) products. For someone wanting to purchase and re-scale a file: i personally would start off with contacting the manufacturer. Asking a question can only result in getting an answer and thereby clarity. Still i'm curious if someone wants to do so........ Keep us informed please!? Best regards, Jan
  4. Hi all, At the moment on my workbench two versions of building-kits in scale H0 (1;87), made by Polish manufacturer Nanofaktura. Two versions of Ursus tractors 912 and C385, but also possible to make in a Zetor-version. I still have to decide that...... Must say: 3D-printed but extremely detailed!!! I have high expectations from it, so i bought them from the website without even seeing a real model first! Here are some pictures, i've just started: Stay tuned, more to come!! BR Jan
  5. Hi all, I'm really sorry to say, but i dislike it!! The tyres are a disaster, as we've seen from other International-models made by Schuco before, and the inner lining of both side pillars of the cabin is missing. As is on Universal Hobbies IH-Models, seems they use the same manufacturer in Asia........... So again one that will not appear in my collection......... BR Jan
  6. Hi Joe, You're right. My D8K is made in scale 1/25. And about the tip you gave: i am in contact with the supplier about this: they admitted that the strenght of the glue was too high, and they would go and have contact with their glue-supplier. Since they're very busy at the moment, this project is put 'on-hold' for a while. But when we will continue, i will try to remember posting some new developments. And indeed: the decals are a bit profiled, which i like on a scale of 1/25, but what about using them on 1/87............. We'll see. Have a nice day! BR Jan
  7. Aah, i see. Well, my apologies on this one. Probably i'm from the age that the first thing which comes in mind at the word "Magnum", is the first generation. But it has successors now indeed.................... Best Regards, Jan
  8. HiJames, Forunately it is indeed! The movie sort of increases the view, but it was meant to be like that, for communication purposes to the manufacturer of the decals. I was one of a testing-crew, and they needed a well-based opinion on this new product. Hope there will be some good news from them soon! Best regards, Jan
  9. Hi all, This is the Magnum you're probably talking about: Images from https://www.eilbote-onlineshop.de https://www.eilbote-onlineshop.de/case-ih-magnum-7240-pro-zwilligsbereifung-lim-edt-modell-von-replicagri-1-32-ma69058.html?c=1831
  10. Hi all, Haa, finally!! I'm waiting some years now for this one!!! It's about time! Best regards, Jan
  11. Hi, I was searching yesterday for the small movie i made of the process, and today i found it, so will it attach as well. Here it is: IMG_4911.MOV Best regards, Jan
  12. Hi all, Due to my FaceBook-activities, which i strictly use for scalemodelling and hobby-use, i have been in contact with a person looking for testing-possibilities, in order to try-out a new way of making decals. And i must say i was quite enthousiastic at first, i only found the glue very strong, which was visible when a decal was taken off from its basis. We agreed to stay in contact but he's very busy at the moment, replying they are buildig a website to order any kind of decal you need. I'll attach you a picture from one of my tests! As you can see in the triangle of the letter "A", there's still a little bit of glue left behind (on the right). They replied that they were in contact with the glue-supplier, and they would solve the issue. If there's any news on this, i'll inform you again! Have a nice weekend! BR Jan
  13. Hi Pete, I use professional paint stripper, which i get from a local professional car-damage-repairshop (bodyshop). This works extremely fast and good!!! So using it takes precautions for your hands and tools. Don't know what brand it is, and i tend to pay cash, they poor it from a jerrycan into glass bottles i bring myself. Once filtered after usage, it is re-usable often, so it's a good investment! After paint-removal i wash and brush pieces with an old toothbrush and use a polishing surface-cleaner combined with warm water. Here's a movie i made during paint-removal using the professional remover: (you can hear and see the paint "popping-off") Have a nice day! BR Jan
  14. Hi all, On my workbench, but to be honest in fact already finished, is the Versatile 950 from Ertl, being turned into the Fiat 44-35-version. I saw it a few times on a scale-model exhibition, and fell in love right away! Stripped it from the original paint, mounted realistic handle-bars and off course a realistic three point hitch on the back., made a protective cover around the muffler, Airbrushed it in the right color-scheme, made the right decals for it and finished it with clearcoat. Have a look and share your thoughts! BR Jan
  15. Hi all, Due to their 35th aniversary, the Dutch agricultural scalemodelers club (L.C.N.) ordered MarGe models to produce two different versions of the Vicon HP1600 high pressure baler, originally produced in the late '80's. Only available to members, but since it looks to be such a fine detailled model i thought it might be of your interest too. However, i suspected it to be brought here in the F.T.F. yet, but a search attempt didn't bring up anything. So i thought to mention it to you here. In the Netherlands this machine was quite a success, but i'm not aware if it was in the U.K. I'll try to post some pictures of the proto-type here, as well as the weblink to the club, and the picture-website full of proto-type-pictures. Have a nice day! 16. Hi all, Although this is absolutely very nice news, it still is required to mention that MiniTrac is starting a new activity, which is said in the add: they will come-up with a line of DieCast models! Hopefully this will lower their prices too because their current models mostly were produced in resin and very expensive! We will see what happens, but expectations are high overhere! Have a nice day BR Jan
  17. Hi there, Thought some pictures would be nice: Best regards, Jan
  18. Hi, My "harvest" from Houten this year was quite small, due to some models still not being available, but anounced. Very happy though with my Landini and PZ CM186 mower! Have a nice day! BR Jan
  19. Interesting stuff guys! I also have some disadvantages using superglue, as for instance it sometimes hurts my eyes during use...... So i also will try to find this Plastic Magic stuff somewhere. Thanks for the information Peter! Have a nice day BR Jan
  20. Hi John, Wow, astonishing job done there man!!! Really amazing how perfectly scaled down the original!!! BR Jan
  21. Thank you John, and all "thumbs up-likers". It was a lot of work, but seems to me very successful! Have a nice day! Jan
  22. Hi all, Posted some pictures earlier on, but yesterday she finally was finished: my Caterpillar D8K in 1/24. Took me about six months to build, but in the end im very happy with the result. 24. Hi, Just a sneak-peak from the scratch-built ripper, which will be mounted on the rear of my Caterpillar D8K-bulldozer. When the weather will coöperate, i will be airbrushing it this week on Wednesday. Only have to wait on the last pieces of tracks, which are in backorder at my supplier......... Have a nice day!
