  2. Hi all, Happy New Year to all of you! Hope it'll be a prosperous modelling year!! BR Jan
  3. Hi all, As just being found on the website of my "home'supplier" Poppema, UH will bring the IH 1056 XL also with wide fenders, as mostly seen on the mainland overhere. Sorry, i'm completely wrong..................... Manufacturer is (off course) Replicagri! How do i skip this post?? BR Jan
  4. Thank you! To all of you too: Merry Christmas from the Netherlands!! BR Jan
  5. Never knew Britains made this one.......... Are you sure it's a Britains?? The rear hitch doesn't look to be Britains at all, i.m.h.o. BR Jan
  6. Really beautiful models, but not for my collection though. BR Jan
  7. Hi all, Again, too my regret, it's the French built cab........... I would really appreciate a German cab!!! The 1055 i've tried to adjust to the German-version, but that wasn't easy. Making it a two-wheel-drive was the easiest part of the job though........ seeing them making a two-wheel-drive themself now......... Just keep on hoping, fingers crossed! BR Jan
  8. Hi all, Got myself a new project: Caterpillar 950, scale 1:25, diecast. Needs new color, and of course, a cabin, which i will make scratch. Started off some time ago, trying to find time for it, in between lots of other activities. Some pictures for a start: Proto-type cabin, made of cardboard. Looks quite nice with the color on! Have a nice day! BR Jan
  9. Hi all, Looks very neat, but was the exhaust really blue also....???
  10. Still waiting here for the 6-cilinder Dacid Browns / Case-versions............ Or, as an old Dutch saying says: "Patience is a virtue"........ BR Jan
  11. Hi Hajo (and others), Thank you for your replies. I indeed like to make models more special by adding details. This is what distinguishes them from the rest. The plastic parts indeed came off without any problem, always being careful with such activities may help.... 😉 Best regards, Jan
  12. Hi all, I purchased myself a used seeder from Britains, the one probably well known, but not in my collection as a kid, i saw a whole lot of similarities between the original brand (Nordsten) and the one i was familiar to, Fiona, as i've worked for a Dutch importing-company which had this in its assortment. So, goal was to try to make a copy of a Fiona seeder, based on the Nordsten. Making new decals was quite easy, and a new layer of paint and laquer also. So i will only show you the results: It's a bit blurry, but goal is to show you the knob for setting the right seeding-distance. Hope you like it!? Best regards, Jan
  13. Hi all, Lovely models Paul!!!! Keep up the good work! BR Jan
  14. Hi all, Many thanks for this! The only reason i still didn't buy me the 135 was the round mudguards: haven't seen any of these in my youth.......... So i decided not to purchase one before i was able to find some decent square mudguards. And there they are!!! Beautifull!! 👌👍 Best regards, Jan
  15. No pictures on the box, to answer your question? And otherwise: try searching the WWW with the article# and the name of the manufacturer. BR Jan
  16. I own one too. Nice tractor! BR Jan
  17. Hi all, Well Dominik, seems you've done a good job so far!? It occurs to me however that your yellow color might be a bit too yellow, i.m.h.o. On the bottom picure at least it seems to be more of a combination between some brown and yellow. Although both brands (Zetor and Ursus) were available in those days, talking about he '80's, when we were youngsters (😁), it never occured to me that the doors were opening on different sides (front or rear), as you mention. Funny! Whenever you would like to have some better suiting hitches or 3-point linkages, take a look at this French supplier: www.artisan32.com Good luck with the last details! Best regards, Jan
  18. Hi all, Well, seemes it was a good show at Spalding, and hopefully attended by a lot of enthousiasts! I'm really glad that shows like these are allowed again, and i sincerely hope that doesn't change in the future (again). Seeing some really really nice displays here and there, simply pieces of Masterwork!!! Well done!!!! Hopefully we will be able to have the Zwolle-show thus year again, and for what i've read about it, it will be held end of November. Thank you for the pictures!!! Best regards, Jan
  19. Hi all, Soon i will start building my next Caterpillar bulldozer, the D8K, and i'm still looking for the right paint for this. Seems there's a lot of uncertainty on this subject, finding so on other forums. I spoke a guy last Saturday saying he's the only one on the European continent having the right yellow-version as used by Caterpillar in the USA.......(??!). Be aware: we're talking about the right color for a dozer produced between the '60's and '70's. There's enough yellow paint to find, even called "Caterpillar-yellow", but i insist getting me the right one! I even found a website on which you can convert RGB (for example) into RAL-numbers, but even a RAL-number which i found doesn't seem to fit properly. This picture is from a forum in the States, showing different yellow-colors. I'm looking for the one on the right, the deeper-yellow-one. Anyone any ideas on this?? Many thanks in advance! Best regards, Jan

  21. Hi, O.M.G.!................... And i've been thinking for years that it was only me who was like this.................... Starting new projects with massive enthousiasm, but finishing....................................😒 I think i even lost count of my unfinished projects, but i'm comforting myself with saying i never will have a dull day when i'm going to retire.......................in about 15 years.............hopefully! 🤣😂🤣😂 Best regards! Jan
  22. Hi, As i mentioned: really nice work James!! Scale is 1:32 i asume? I'd like to keep following your process. Is there a specific post you've made for it? Best regards, Jan
  23. Hi all, Making some progress in the process of re-shaping the Volvo BM A35 dumper: after airbrushing new, original color, making and placing new decals, airbrushing clearcoat and re-assembling again. This time WITH the new Playmobil-tires!! Only need to re-mount the cilinders again, after the attempt failed to make them look shiny with aluminium bare metal foil, as if they were really chromed. But unfortunately there was too little space in between the cilinder-parts, so when shoving-in, it wrapped-up......... Best regards, Jan
  24. Hey James, Very good looking machine!!!! Really nice undercarriage too, home-made / 3D-printed? Or something else? Keep up the good work! BR Jan
  25. Hi all, Just finished today, my model of a Caterpillar D8H, bought in a half-built-stadium, for which i made a scratch-built cabin. Just a few pictures for you to see below. When you're interested in the whole process, take a look on this Dutch scale-modeling-forum: www.modelbrouwers.nl Best regards, Jan
