  1. I was unpacking boxes still not touched since the move and came across this.
  2. Love the weathering, I could see that 1124 being pulled out of a barn by a Lord Muck type of character and made yo run again. What's next on the Todo list?
  3. Anyone planning to attend? Hoping to be there on the 4th whilst heading back to the Eastern side of the country for a family birthday.
  4. This showed up yesterday, really pleased tbh as it's as close to the one, colour aside, that we have on the in-laws farm
  5. Not had time to do much except work and chores at home. I did buy this though.
  6. Thanks, I was wondering if we'd get a slightly lower price from retailers, or do they usually go with MSRP?
  7. That's a big old beast, wonder how many shekels they'll want for that?
  8. Maximum vehicle length with low loader trailer is 18.75m or 61.5', or with special dispensation 27.4m or 89.9', so maybe with a lot of paperwork and a short towing vehicle 😁
  9. Neighbours are out spreading (or asking the contractor to do it).
  10. Saw quite a few tractors on my road trip to Gloucestershire, but no photos. Had to come back early, and lose out on paid nights in a hotel, long story, but I've made use of the time to heat, hammer and apply GT85 to end up here.
  11. Very nice, I remember having the shepherd figure as a child.
  12. Rest of the photos from yesterday https://photos.app.goo.gl/zQKvN1jjBqxtwUq76
  13. Yes it looked a bit of an odd beast. Think I got some shots of it ploughing later. This morning I've been out removing the front wheel bearing on the 785. Ended up removing hub and wheel together as they've rust/fym welded together. As they say one job leads to another, looking at the thread for the castle nut on the end of the stub, it's really flattened and chewed up. Possibly why we've got problems. I'm going to have someone with more knowledge take a look, but I'm thinking I'm going to have to put a new king pin in, never done that before!
  14. People seemed to have brought their own plough, but not sure if they were going over the same strip.
  15. At the Shrewsbury Steam fair, got a few pics, but 4g is bad so will upload more pics later. Also the flakey Disco let me down on the way here, seized brake, so it's a trailer home job again.
  16. Bought a new to me mower for doing the orchard! Got home to a mouse in the kitchen which the terrier had ignored, only for him then to bring in a dead bird!
  17. The pattern of reduced releases mirrors some of my other hobbies and interests, and I suspect it's in part due to how manufacturing in China has evolved too. A few years ago a major player in outsourced model making went bust, leading to most of the US outline model train manufacturers consolidating on the remaining companies, which were few in number. This lead to production pipeline delays, and couple this with less favourable exchange rates, Covid related shipping problems, and you can see why that might be slowing down.
  18. Really wanted the IH, but something about that cab looks off to me, not sure quite what though.
  19. Good luck, sounds like here too, just as things dry out, then another heavy/long bout of rain.
  20. And now making bales, got some better photos on the SLR. Will share in a few days
