  1. Cheers, no it's not 🤣 it's actually had some wood attached to the back to make a trailer of some sort, it's a crude job. I think I'll replace the rotten timber and close up the gaps and just use it as a trailer.
  2. This came with the house, builders plate is long gone though. Old MF? Salopian?
  3. Not sure when this will start, as we're moving next week (at long last, but I have here a choice of two Britains' Land Rovers to make into a model of my old HR0 205N Series 3 - using the Braemar conversion bits.
  4. Looking fantastic! Re the Blitz, I think it's actually a later model, as the square cab and the wood burner make it an Daimler Benz L-701 (licenced Blitz copy) from 1944.
  5. Hi Ed, I have found a few HO pieces which I use on the model railroad clubs layout, but they can't compare with a 1/32 piece for details. What are you looking to do though, make something that's an accurate model of a specific prototype, or capture the feel of something. That may answer the dilemma. Vancouver Island eh? Lovely place, spent 3 years in Vancouver and popped over to Victoria with a few friends for the train shows there. Simon
  6. All brilliant work, but I really love the Series Landys. Used to have a Series 3 hardtop which I rebuilt with my uncle.
  7. Room for an aftermarket replacement if it's popular though
  8. Wishing you a speedy recovery! I dropped a can of household polish on my toe, which split the nail underneath so kept pieceing the nailbed and causing it to bleed for months - took over a year for the nail to fully grow out - hopefully you recover quicker than I do!
  9. Looks like we'll be there on Saturday now as some other plans got cancelled.
  10. How do you find the 440? Hoping to bale the top paddock at the new place and would to get it done with something from IH.
  11. I'm not sure I'm up for making a 1/32 chain harrow! The roller is possible, but it's more or less the same as the one I made already with a few slight differences. The spreader/trailer is possible, depends if there's anything close to start with. The Britains MF rear discharge one is somewhat akin, but I didn't get chance to see exactly what this one was - possibly an old Salopian. For the price he wants for it all, as it saves him moving it offsite, I'll bite.
  12. In a funny turn of events, I now find myself buying a 1:1 scale 8' Twose roller along with our new property. It's a newer style, and a cheery yellow colour. Also negotiating on an old muck spreader converted into a trailer, and getting a chain harrow chucked in.
  13. They do, thanks, will hunt for some of eBay.
  14. After all that yelling about the 7810, it's still on the top shelf! I was really hoping he'd think something was squirrel stuff, but no joy this time - maybe next.
  15. Just wondering does anyone know of a make that actually looks like Jerseys? The Britain's ones seem to have applied a white stripe of warpaint on their noses...
  16. Will see if we can make it - need to see what shifts my wife is working.
  17. Thanks again - the chipping is a very simple trick - just use an old sponge (the sort that you get in packaging or on the back of the pan scourer rather than a bath sponge)/
  18. thanks guys - and yes I do have a background in wargaming models mostly, but also some trains too.
  19. I finally got some paint on it, did the weathering and then realised the roller ends should be blue, so it's not quite done yet.
  20. that lightboard, held on at a jaunty angle by probably baler twine, coupled with the natural light - awesome realism, nice job!
  21. This just arrived, with all due care from Evri... I'm a bit disappointed as I ordered the IH version, not the Case version, which if Dad knew I had he'd disown me. 🤣 Seeing if it's been a shipping mix up.
