  1. Wow......... that is awesome Tris!! How are you going to fill it though? What bales will you be using? I can just see it at home on the A303 or in the massive arable fields either side. The funniest thing is though mate is that you could actually fit in the cab (judging by all the jokes about your size) ;D :D :D ;) Excellent mate, something to be very proud of.
  2. Youy would of liked to have gone all the way................................... So many jokes, so little time. It does look excellent, what do you think of the quadrant 3400? Any pics with he hitched up to an 8530 or xerion for us to look at?
  3. One question Mr Ford, Why didnt you make the shed as wide as the yard it is sitting in? It does look great. I am looking to make some corrugated sheeting like yours. Will try Tris' tips.
  4. Ah well, keep it up. Not letting any secrets out about building and all the accuracy and attention to detail you pull off. Don't blame you.
  5. It might of been said or aked already mate but when did you start building? How do you make your buildings look so realistic? You do have a talent mate.
  6. Graham, what can I say that hasn't been said already. If I had the space and the finance mate I would have you on the job of building me a grain drier like we spoke about, nevermind, one day maybe. Excellent all the same mate. Keep it up. Is is all made of wood? What about the gates?
  7. Yeah, a Quadrant 3400 is said to need about 300hp up front. We had a 3400 near us on a 280hp fastrac and it was on it's knees on some hills. Farm is looking fantastic by the way.
  8. So you've had your first cut off the workbench then gav?
  9. I would reccomend an 8530 JD or a Claas Xerion to be honest! Doubt a massey could handle itÂ
  10. Thats a hell of a set up mate. I have quite a quiet summer planned. If your on here I may be pestering you for a ride sometime if your boss and you dont mind? Do you ever use guys with their own tractors?
  11. Dont mind at all. I work in the Training Centre teaching the dealer technicians on the service courses we hold. It's a great job. Got all new kit to play with and break then get them to fix it! So who do you work for? What do you do? Sprayer man obviously, i mean are you a full time tractor driver etc?
  12. I work for JD near nottingham at the HQ. Looks like you have the dogs balls in your cab mate. 2600, touch screen, very nice! So who do you prefer? AIS or Farols?
  13. Hi CTS, where did you get your JD's from or don't you drive them? I live in Burton on Trent but work for JD. Just noticed you had a 6930 and a 840i, hows it going? Great pics, love the one looking from the end of the boom!
  14. Does it say it is a flex head? It's just that they arent really used over here, used in the USA as the sometimes run flat to the ground. It sounds good to me. I would like to see a walker machine or a CTS. Thanks jason, much appreciated
  15. How about one with chains? The ones I have used have had a row of chains at the front and rear. Any chance of making some more?
  16. I would pay ?30 including postage for the front set of triples with no linkages fitted. I could add them myself. Does that help?
  17. PM me with a price for a set of triple claas mowers could you please mate?
  18. Saw a JCB 8250 with a Joskin Dump trailer just like the UH one. It was a fair old beast, bet it wold haul well!!
  19. Forager was on a demo last thursday in the midlands. People are getting it off to get some maize planted.
  20. Have to disagree with all of you I am afraid. I spent a summer baling with one of those a 8560 and it was nothing but trouble, problems ranged from not having reverse to bolts breaking off the manifold to not being able to select 100rpm for the pto. All that that was good fo was probably roling!!
  21. I know this is picky but if they could make the square bales with the grain of the wood running the other way it would look exactly like 'wads' in the bale.
  22. Amazing, simply amazing!!! Made me think of going for a dug out silage pit now for my farm!!! What'sit made from? Paper mashee?
  23. So Tris, when can you deliver me one? I love the lights and the storage box on the drag. No pressure to make the lorry as good!!! ;D
  24. Looks great mate, any updates with the front half? Are you putting the britains tractor unit bac on the front or using a more modern loking new ray version? Looking great anyway, will be good to see it all hitched up. Make sure you hitch the drag quite close to the body of the lorry. All the one's I have loaded have nearly been touching. Be great to see it finnished!!
