  1. That looks great mate!! I am in a dilema, do I purchase a self propelled hardi for my new contracting buisiness I am setting up or go for a trailed machine to utilise another tractor during the winter and spring? Obviously I mean models!! ;D What do you guys think?
  2. I think you need a ros grass harrow for that set up. You could get one from Gav with a seeding unit for those 'thin' patches.
  3. My address is .......................... Could I order one with a front linkage aswell................ Thanks very much. Let me know when you are near with the trailer! ;D ;D
  4. It's so simply brilliant, will be interested to see it when it is finnished. Tell us more about it or is it a secret? What did you use?
  5. Fantastic, Well done mate!! 8) Where did you get your diesel cap from?
  6. It's being planned as we speak. Just need a workshop to do the spray job. Looking good!
  7. No, the claas tractors use deere engines and so do the leibherr loading ag shovels. Not heard of any with head gasket problems?
  8. I'm sure you will never find a range of tractors that hasn't had a serious problem. I admit that there was alot of problems, but none that havent been sorted and 9 times out of 10 they are fixed rapid. You all forget that a farmer wants his machine fixing yesterday and is not willing to wait or normally pay anything towrads a repair? Still think that JD is the best............... ;D ;D
  9. http://www.ema-models.co.uk/shop/prodpages/page-SCS-12.html Just incase you need is mate. Layout lookd great by the way, how much were your mowers and did you buy them fitted to the 7930?
  10. A stone lane, as in the stone to be driven on or walls? I am planning a little something for when I build my contracting business up and not too sure about letting out the planned secret materials? Ok, I was going to try felt roof material, it looks like lots of small stones and was going to be my track up the farm.
  11. Improve root structure, get rid of stones, kinda much like we do?
  12. Found this on facebook, kinda makes our efforts look poor!
  13. I agree, think there are some better ones? Great idea anyway

I know, only joking, they are good but it has been provent that a JD can bale a heavier bale! Everyting has their + and - points, i'll be the first to admit that.

Why did you go for a Welger and not a JD?
  18. Well, I've got one under my belt already so have an idea and a few trick up my sleeve too. Will post it up when/if it makes it out of my head! How long do you need to build a buckrake? I'm not in a rush just curious when I do get my display built up.
  19. Was / am going to build a modern one, telescopic mcconnel i hope
  20. Seriously, wow. Any chance of some more details, how long, how you joined it all? Any problems you had? :o :o
  21. Whats that marky? Where is it? Do you mean the scaledown bomford?
  22. CJ, This guy advertises hedge plants etc. The Large Hedge halfway down is about 1.32 scale. Quite expensive however! http://www.howardscenicsupplies.co.uk/hedging.html
  23. :'( :'( :'( :'( Oh, well that's upsetting Ian I am looking into that exact idea. Just talking with McConnel about constructing some more machines. Then planning to build a few and like you said, it depends on the cost and input time. The site looks great by the way. Any idea on price and time of the Richard Western's??
  24. Nice, I have been working, getting ready to teach some people all about round balers. Interesting!
