  1. Small update, Took our last paddock of silage of yesterday, what a mission, pleanty of mud and chain work here are some pics Our jxu 100 with silage wagon, 4240jd with loader wagon and the the contractors 8530 with 16t trailer bit soft here

Over here you pick the freisons get sold at the sales, same with herroford calves, Jersy bulls go tp the Bobby lorry ( 4 day old meat,) vealers, we normaly keep 3-4 fresion bulls for breeding, and 2 jersy bulls for breeding also( tail end of AI mating) and we some how end up with 12ish heroford bulls/steers witch i hate.. I am taking on 20 jersy bulls this year, buy them as 4 day olds then taken them up to 18mths to sell as breeding bulls,

If you want to see some farms i can organise it in Palmerston north as we have 2 farms there, and 2 dairy farms on the other side of the hills, I myself run 160ha dry stock unit and we have a 300cow dairy farm 15mins drive away, There wont be to much tractor work going on realy, just feeding stock, most dairy farms will be dry ours will be but my neigbhour will be milking 2-300 cows still, should be a case STX475 working by then not far from me, June the 10th-13th Is the National Fieldays at Mystery creek in Hamilton http://www.fieldays.co.nz/ I will be there on the 12th and 13th If you want o look around my area or know any thing more just drop me a PM Nick

I have named the place Rangeview farm, i can see to sets of ranges from it, Thje top pic is digging a 90m long trench for a hot wire cable The second pic is looking back to my house long way and a fairly steep gully And the wife bringing the case over the slipery track the ute strugglles with....
