  8. Like the map nice little touch, is it from a real farm or drawn up for woodside 1/32? Like the wooded area to the back of the yard nice to see trees on a layout.

Excellent updates there CJ, I've been trying to get a look at your layout for the past 24hrs, since you added the new pics, but my broadband connection seems to have reverted to dial-up speeds for some reason. It's good today though Have to say worth the wait, Ballylaw has some nice new kit for the winter.

  14. using spray on glue you can attach the foliage to tree forms of hedge rows
  15. Just thought I post this little tip here,I wanted to find and in-expensive way of making foliage, so I tried this idea. Hope it help's all layout builders. I first cut up a square of foam, the type of stuff you can get in any soft furnishing shop. Used for making seat cushions. I made 1/2 inch pieces and used a kitchen blender to make fine crumbs of the foam, same way you make stuffing for the sunday roast I soaked the foam crumbs in Ronseal fence paint, and then dried the material in the oven at about 100c for 30 minutes. Here's the result

  17. Saw this model today in a local shop, must take a closer look sometime this week. The price tag was reasonable at €64.00

  21. Layout is looking great Sue, always the plan small layout at first, but you enjoy making new bits and pieces, different scenes and before you know it your kocnking the wall down into the neighbours Great layout Sue looking forward to more updates.
  22. Great pictures Noel, I can't wait to get my maize header from Fred, I might just adapt it to fit the Claas Jag. Love the new trailers more great stuff from Martin, everytime I see a pic of that new MF from UH I drool can't wait to make a purchase

  24. Opening first cut silage, housing the young dry stock, buy a few lambs for winter grazing.
