  1. Perhaps britains are waiting for brand new 6cyl elite models too arrive, most notibly the new T6080 tractor with 155hp which I understand is a bit longer and taller than TSA model and features a chunkier TM style rear axle. This model would need new tooling from britains. But Im betting they will be making it by next year
  2. 7530 has a steeper curve to its bonnet than flater 6930 (look at both side on its bl**din obvious) so if we are going to be truly accurate PDCs 6930 is incorrect I reckon he might get away with a more convincing conversion by cutting 7530 bonnet down too make a 4cyl 6430 model its shorter length should hide 7530 curve better and judgeing by his excellent 6420S replica I reckon he would be onto another winner
  3. Having done some research through old pics of mine & various brochures, magazines the net etc it looks as if there have been plenty sold in UK however what may have baffled the JD salesman was the fact its been available for a long time (early nineties at least) and KV have introduced many other plough options since PB100 first was introduced. Therefore his customers most likely choose other models in the range depending on soil type ,farmsize, tractor power etc.... I think we can safely say its a current model but not as popular as other KV ploughs The brochure shows pics of it on the back of JD 8010series and CASE Magnum tractors both around 225-250hp I would have thought. And yet despite claiming its built for these Higher HP tractors the tech spec claims it needs 140hp to pull it \ "I think not" unless you farm on the beach Basically the toy looks bl**dy marvelous and would be best matched behind my JD7930 (230HP) or PUMA210/T7060 or Claas 850 Axion As for conversions its only available in 5,6,7 or 8 furrow versions so there is great scope for adding or subtracting furrows too suit Happy days indeed
  4. If I were you I would abandon it being a 7495 as its based on the larger 8000 platform and already looks wrong!!! Why not wait a few weeks for Agritechnica show firstly MF intend too launch new high horsepower tractors so perhaps your conversion could be one of these models? And secondly like a few of the other lads on this site I think we are going too see lots of impressive new 1/32 models released at the show perhaps a new MF lets hope so
  5. Looks superb doesnt it!!!!! My only concern is that when I was talking too my local Kvernland agent (JD Dealer) he said he had never heard of a pb100 \ and said all their sales were LD & LB85s or RS models for big semi mounts! I do like too have the models I see out in the fields on the carpet farm not obscure ones :'( Does anyone know of a farm useing this KV model in the UK??? Lets hope the rumoured UH lemken plough materialises as well too give us some more choice
  6. Looked at Siku September releases on their website and there is NO Fendt 718 Whats happened? Could it be that there is a new style cab on the way for 700/800 ? Agritechnica2007 perhaps? And Siku have got license to make first model of it and thereby dropped planned 718 model:?
  7. My source reckons well before Xmas for sure
  8. Thanks for that info Paul How did you get on with the castings for the JD7530 roofs (ones without knobs ) If ok will you have them at Spalding? TA
  9. Its a quantum leap forward from my existing TSA135 model!!! and I thought that was good when it first came out Im very impressed
  10. How about JD7530? I find with my 6920 sprayer tractor all I have to do is unscrew chassis remove both standard wheels & axles and replace them with my existing row crop wheels all ready fitted to donor axles (2minute job) can you supply 7530 axles complete with suitable rowcrops??
  11. What a swizz talk about money for old rope they can stick them where the sun dont shine
  12. All in all another encouraging step forwards for Britains lets hope the finished versions of the Quadtrac & JD9530 are more reasons for congrats
  13. As for the hitch \ too be honest I see no problem!!! A 210hp tractor on my fleet will be pulling a NH baler, pulling an Amazone spreader, pulling a Horsch drill, pulling a Marston trailer, Pulling a Simba Solo, pulling a Hardi sprayer, pulling a 5gang set of rolls!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and in the new year it will probably pull a semi mounted 7F Kverneland plough Now im sorry to p*ss off a few people and I know the britains hitch isnt in the same league as Siku JD7530 but as you can see from my above list its good enough to pull all that lot without to many problems
  14. I have too say I was very impressed its as good as PUMA version and they have got the supersteer right yes I was surprised too the front axle turns and the wheels are on pivots and turn as well just like real thing Its a considerable improvement on last years T8040 S/S axle
  15. Hi All, I went to G & M models open day last weekend and took some pics of the new T7060 tractor due out soon I hope It was a one of a pair belonging to a third party who bought them along for a day out Here are some pics.
  16. Header comes off and so do the appallingly fragile rear wheels >
  17. Good work Gerbent, more accurate than Agrium model conversion thats for sure Looks like real thing !! Heres local farmers TVT195 for comparison
  18. Your the first one out of all TM converters to attempt too get cab roof correct. And therefore this is easily best attempt at a 155 yet
  19. There are only 3 UK euro spec CASES Magnum310, Puma210 , MXU125 all others are Yankee versions
  20. I cant remember if Ford 7000 ever got a 4wd conversion in real life I dont think so but am sure someone will correct if im wrong. However Im sure I did see a COUNTY 4wd conversion of the 7600 model that replaced 7000 so perhaps that might be a future model for Deerepower to make when the britains model gets its release
  21. Hi all, Did anyone else read the article in this months Classic Tractor about the making of new Britains 7000 tractor model? I thought it was an excellent article and have to say the model is a dead ringer for the real machine still used on farm in the picture that they took there design from What does bemuse me is that the decals on the toy fair prototype (also pictured) are the correct light blue colour and yet on the final production units they are dark blue Also I looked on Farmmodels website and they have close up picture of a 7000 model, which some dimwit on the britains assembly line has put the decals on the wrong way round and now it reads " ford 700" or something I will buy my one from somewhere I can inspect it before I hand over my hard earned cash
  22. I had Claas challenger 85e tracks on my MT 765 for last 3 years (perfect fit ) but since I learned of 85E resale value I decided to re unite it with original tracks and have decided to replace both machines with a spanking new Quady 535 in time for spring cultivations on the carpet farm I plan to match my forthcomeing Quadtrac purchase with a VADY drill conversion like Deerepowers excellent model hopefully the rig will look something like this
  23. Not a hope of picking that combi outfit of the ground Richard let alone powering it May I recommend the Siku MF8280 if they still have the model available as I suspect you will need 250hp to be "boss of the job" I think UH are aiming the solitair at the backend of new Claas Xerion & Sikus Fendt900 series models in the 250-360hp bracket as they will be the real life machines pulling it in Lemkens home country of Germany.
  24. The bonnet looks correct thankfully picked up a 5000 to have a look but it sucked! 7000 model is close to my heart as this was the real life tractor that got me interested in tractors in the first place never thought that anyone would think to make a model version though so im really looking forward to buying one and even more so now looking at that picture well done britains
  25. This will be britains best JD model yet (I include iffy 8530 precision in that comment) If somebody can produce some ACCURATE tracks for it and NOT the ones DT has on his website (not enough idler rollers or big enough for H-Track) it could be superb
