  1. I was thinking exactly the same thing on the tracks issue A JD9630 tracked at one end of mantlepiece and a CASE Quadtrac at the other
  2. Hey PDC, Hows the JD7530 roof casts coming along? I need one too finish my 7530conversion of
  3. Nice touches on 7530 pete Im currently converting mine & like you it will have the correct chrome look lights on front &back of roof with the black painted background I quite like the beacon it came with as Agrium ones look oversized to me \ However front linkage looks smart and Ive got one on my 7930 too
  4. Not to big for my carpet farm though, my Magnum 310 has been gagging for a top drawer 7/8 furrow plough to pull and preferably a Kverneland as they are most popular
  5. Although the UH Fendt818 was superbly detailed it just didnt hit the spot for me especially those weedy front wheels & tyres The 820 deserves a beefier appearence But I dare say it wont get it. Having recently bought Siku JD7530 (undergoing conversion) I cant help but think that the Fendt 718 they are soon to release will be a butcher model than the supposedly "bigger" 820 model from UH. The best bet will be buy the siku 718 and get it rebadged 820 afterall in real life the two tractors are virtually the same dimensionally and you can easily take the Siku apart & change front link for weight & change the wheels to rowcrops for spring spraying/fertiliser duties
  6. Hi Deerepower you must live near Newmarket too I have to say BB have good selection of JD toys and get models very early in release also Manns the Claas agent have THE MOST IMPRESSIVE model display of only Claas products. Went last month and they have totally re organised their displays
  7. B.B ?16.10 incl VAT jd DEALERS ALWAYS CHEAPEST FOR jd TOYS & MERCHANDISE
  8. Ben Burgess UK JD dealer 16.10p
  9. I guess we will get UK versions of the yankee ones on the flyer. The T7000s shown were blue versions of puma 195 & 210 USA dealer specials. The UK puma 210 is much nicer on chunky tyres so I expect the blue version of this to be a corker Also Case Magnum335 The real machine hasnt even been launched in europe yet! Quadtrac will probably be 530 euro version and will definately be heading my way I hope UK Maxxum 140 looks better than USA version that looks cr*p
  10. Hmm thats an interesting shot. You can see what I mean about the 6920s daft front tyres there as big as the new 7530s ALSO anyone else notice how the new Siku JD has a different hitch on its rear end It doesnt stick out any where near as far as 6920!! I hated that so much I removed hitch of mine It looks spot on now with my blue marston trailer behind it (instead of 10ft behind with hitch in situ Steering column on 7530 looks far to big \ I think with a bit of modifcation it could still be a cracking model though
  11. I was referring to the pre McCordini liveried Case MX range NOT the pile of sh1t MXMs \ Puma Rules
  12. Thats a much nicer model than my 6920 and i will tell you why! The front wheels & tyres are correct in proportion to the rest of the 7530 whereas the 6920 tyres were way oversize I liked the width of them but height wise they are above the front lights when they should have been well below As for back wheels I think they are about right as well, they just need a few coats of bright yellow no12 revell enamel paint and some detailing of the wheel nuts with silver paint to finish makes a big difference to tractors appearance (especially JDs) then remove that silly knob of roof finito
  13. Great potential with that model PDC just needs wheel centres to be JD type & not MF On my local farm they have 6320 6430 models fitted with row crop wheels very similar to the ones you were having made! perhaps when your ready you could fit a set to the finished tractor to give a different look?
  14. I see that JD dealer Farols has already gotten new siku 7530 and is selling them on ebay! Just like with the real thing Farols are intent in wipeing out all other competitors W****rs The model itself looks quite promising
  15. Another mouthwatering model from UH It would appear the Hardi commanders days are numbered on the carpet farm and the JD6920 that pulls it \ At cereals it took a Case Magnum250 to pull the 5000 litre Chafer sprayer I suspect I shall have to buy three JD7530s now instead of two so that ive got something big enough to pull this new Amazone sprayer with As for ltd edition (I doubt it!) Probably as someone else suggested ltd packaging and then a bog standard UH box to follow. I cant see such a complex model with all its associated tooling being ltd it just isnt cost efficient is it! especially with a large demand from us collectors
  16. Hi, Seeing as this model has just hit the shelves in UK I thought now would be good time to start review Its easier to start with bad points as I only have afew grumbles. Firstly the hitch design has not changed and therefore cannot hold up even slightly heavy implements Also the absence of a driver is annoying. I added my own (with difficulty) although steering wheel is to big and gets in the way. Its also a fast steer version st/wheel which is supposedly only a NH option (oops) On plus point side scale of toy seems spot on and tin work & paint are very good Mirrors lights ,exhaust , beacons all present & correct. Particular praise is reserved for wheels & tyres these are chunky and far far nicer than britains recent efforts The general quality is better than my recently purchased Claas 657 UH model (very wonky cab & roof ) With the addition of a bar axle on rear wheels a change of beacons(should be easy) some concrete dust on tyres and a mobile phone aerial on roof it should look excellent. MARKS? Just like the stunning real tractor id give it 9/10 But it will be competing with T7000 for one of the ltd places on the carpet farm let the battle commence
  17. The britains Vaderstad rapid is 4metre version not 6 \ So like everyone else I will buy far better detailed Horsch pronto 4metre or wait for someone to convert it to 6metre version
  18. The Puma 210 tyres are far chunkier than 195 USA edition. If I bought 195 I would rebadge it 165 with such skinny tyres I think Puma has terrific nose on it , with curving lights creating a aggressive appearence. Much better than competition in my opinon. T7000 not as nice in design but I just love that electric BLUE paintwork
  19. Yes I read that article in VAdys vision mag. more products by year end Hmmm how about a nice carrier cultivator perhaps 5-6 metre version to go behind 200-300hp tractors
  20. Hi Everyone , Pumas tyres are much more like siku ones on my JD6920 than the plasticy ones on JD7930 :'( as for hitch you guessed it "no change" I have to say that good tyres make a lot of difference to these models, we all remember the crap ones on JD7920 and were grateful for improvement on 30 series models but these ones are best britains yet I wonder why they didnt put new puma style tyres on JD 30 series Does anyone know when UK spec New Holland T7050 is released??
  21. Judgeing by the picture of new ford 5000 I would agree it is right scale. As is my newly acquired Case puma 210. However if you look at britains history of blue scale tractors how did the mighty TW20 model become a 7710 and then a 5610 ??? I bet if you put TW20 model next to new 5000 they are probably same size \ which suggests original 1/32 models were nearer1/43 I suggest we be very thankful for accuracy of recent Britains models
