  1. Well, it seems new brochures are already arriving in the new year! My father in law was cleaning his office and found some old brochures so gave them to me. Pretty happy with them as my Steyr collection is quite small with many gaps! First two machine brochures of equipment that we have on the farm. W Perfect flail mower and Rumptstad plough. Second two single sheet leaflets on the Steyr 948, 958, 968 and 975 tractors. I think my father in law wanted to buy one but eventually got a second hand New Holland. Third: First generation CVT range and second generation 9100 series.
  2. Well that one is def UK but different styling. It is a little less thick but also understandable as the product line up wasn't as broad back then. Lot of tractors joined since. That book only has the Challengers in it of course.
  3. Thank you Paul! I just had a look through my own collection see below. Sadly I am missing the 2009 and 2010 books! Hopefully I can add those to my collection. Anyone here that can help?? I have another 2011 book so if anyone is looking for that I can help. I don't know if 2006 was the first one? The top left one is from 1998 but it doesn't have a year on the front or a stamp on the back. The layout and design is the same as the newer books though with the full product line up. I am not sure but I think I got it from Ben Beard on here.
  4. Another show another brochure! The Claas importers this time. I am pretty much up to date with Claas so not much new. Teaser brochure for the Atos 200/300 range and the new Arion 400. Also the new full product guide for 2015 of course to add to the growing collection! I'm still after one or two though. Does anyone know (Malc?) when they started doing them year books?
  5. I found out I was pretty much missing all of the current Case IH line up. A visit to the Case IH importers solved matters quickly though! Hopefully up to date now.
  6. And yet more brochures are arriving! Visited a show from the Agco (MF, Valtra, Fendt, Challenger) importer today. Collected some brochures but only a few about. Fendt 300 Vario, Fendt booklet, MF 3600 series, MF 5600 series. MF 8700 & 6600 Series. MF Beta, Centora, Delta and Challenger MT800E series. (Sadly didnt have any MT700E). Sadly no Valtra's and nearly no Fendt. Amazing when you keep quiet for a year how many new brochures are released with completely new styling! Hoping to get my collection up to date again.
  7. Thank you for clearing that up Justin! Meanwhile two more brochures turned up in the post. A good friend of mine send me a Christmas card and attached these. Another of the CX 7000-8000 Elevation combines and one of the new CR combines.
  8. Visited a show from one of our local Case IH/Steyr dealerships today and brought home a few brochures. Also three brochures on SP and trailed Dewulf carrot harvesters and a Dewulf R3060 potato harvester brochure that I got earlier and the NH CX7000 & 8000 Elevation brochure.
  9. Interesting story Justy. I guess the Fritzmeyers were popularish in Ireland but not so much in the UK? Especially with Lambourn, Duncan etc.. being about doing basic cabs. You rarely see those cabs over here in Holland.
  10. I had a visit from a friend today that collects mainly Ford & County brochures. We traded some stuff and I managed to get some new bits for my collection: Overview brochure 5600, 6600, 7600, 7700, 6700 (German) 3900, 4600, 4100 (French) Ford 8100 (Dutch) County Tractors Export (English) Ford 2600, 3600, 4100, 41600 (Dutch) Kuhn GMD 40 mower (French) JD 50 series (Dutch).
  11. Very few new additions in my collection recently. Difficult to get your hands on new brochures these days! Last week a brand new brochure of the Dewulf R3060 arrived, thanks to the fantastic guys at Dewulf in Belgium! Only other brochure I received with a 2015 catalogue from Lemken. There's some local machinery shows coming up so maybe will stack up on the collection but as said difficult to get your hands on them! Would usually buy some things from Ebay but I find prices disturbingly high these days. Is that just me? Even for simple non-rare brochures the prices are still way over the top for most items. Bargain days are over!
  12. Those two Versatile's are lovely David and now on the top of my shopping list for 2015!! Shame they have the hole at the back and not a proper 3pt linkage.
  13. I take it this is completely illegal with you as it is over here (but sometimes done)?! How many tonnes can the intake hopper take? Will you quickly unload the whole trailer and dump it's load into the hopper so the trailer can get back to the field whilst the load is graded or will it always be full of crop and slightly adding more and more? Does seem a very large unit to me. Didn't think it would be needed with small UK sized trailers. What will be your next project? Installing a Christmas tree?
  14. Another nice new machine on the farm. Looks very good! Very curious about how the set up will look like when it is all in place.
  15. Alex, may I ask why did you opt for a Väderstad Carrier and not for a straw harrow if you're only going to use it on stubble to create a chit?
  16. Another nice update Alex with a lot of shiny new kit. Hopefully prices will rise to back up your heavy investment policy. I understand you need to in order to complete your CTF regime. Surprised your putting any money at all in the potatoes! The auger extension does look very neat, like it rolled out of Harsewinkel.
  17. What are the rules upon slurry spreading in your part of the world? Spreading slurry here has been banned from September 15th but you can get on throughout the year? Also no rules about how much you can apply per acre?
  18. Only joking Paul. Was speaking to one of the very few Dutch JCB owners and he has just sold his 18.500 hours 185-65. It will now have a more easier second life with a horse owner. That tractor was virtually pullet proof.
  19. Thank you for your view upon the AD plant subject Alex. Now, are you going to make the unloading auger foldable or fixed? Will you modify the header yourself to V1230 or just put a new decal on?
  20. Maybe if they got their reliability up then it would be a good decision to buy one!
  21. Similar questions raise to mind here as well as Ol says. Mainland Europe is seeing a diminishing effect on AD plants after the big biogas boom end of the 00s. UK is always slow to catch up with such things and inevitably the same will happen over there as well. As long as something floats on subsidies it will never have a strong future! Look at the wheat price decades ago that was artificially kept high by Brussels. When the sh*t does hit the fan the trouble will be greater than before. Also the whole idea of maize in a mono culture and massive kit running over the field is not something that is my farming ideal. Of course there will be more crops on Oakley Farm but maize is far from an ideal crop. Anyway Alex it's all your ideas and do what you like grumpy gits like Ol and me will just continue to moan! After all who wouldn't like to see a big forager and trailer.
  22. Are there more people on here having issues with the website speed? I have a quick internet connection and every website I visit loads fine. However, when I visit FTF it just drops miles down. Pages take ages to load. Even simple text topics will take a while. I have the same issue on my phone with 4G and at work as well so it's certainly not my location. Are there known issues or am I alone in this?
