  5. Our new dog its a she! and she's very shy! and Kil looking all inecent
  6. Well what i know is the transmission came out in 1961 and was the first tractor in the world to have a fully automatic transmission! because it was such a leap forward in tractor tecnology at the time it was queit an expensive transmission to build ect and an extra ?2,000 pounds was added to the price of a new DB 990 implematic farmer's were not able to afford these machine's so only a few were made about 6 i think?? the Hydrashift gearbox was developed around the orignal design except for instead of fully automatic they went for semi automatic. Ill tell you more later as ive got the video with this on it!
  7. I knew it would come back to haunt me! [ I wish i hadent uploaded it now but ah well! Nigel i asked him could he add some clips of the syncro range and 90'series! so we will have to see?
  8. Here's a few clips! some great footage! AND THE FAMOUS AUTO DRIVE 990! some more
  9. Yeah i seen the scaledown skid steer i was bidding on one on ebay ages ago as a gift for my father but i didnt win! :'(
  10. Power rabbit I dont really know what your taskmaster is worth but if it was used on an aircraft carrier id say she's fairly rusty. you would know better than me when it comes to sterlin! how about ?700 to ?1400 as i siad you would know better than me!
  11. Nigel our county power drives 11F is based on the ford 5000 and has a brockhouse torque transmisson with all the normal gears! there's no clutch pedal just a leaver for forward and reverse and when you select a gear and put it in either forward/reverse it will not move unless trotel is given the more you give the faster you go! the same with when you reduce revs it will eventual just stop! The county power drives were built especialy for loader work as when we got our's it had never been fitted with a draw bar. county power drives was a sepparet sector at county only for building county power drive machines. There's only suppose to be 22 of these built on the ford 5000.
  12. I Doubt that! with about 50 DB's and weve been offered sum big bucks for some like the Restored DB 1200 we were offered 13.000 sterlin for it! an offer of 20.000 euro was made on our DB 1694! a red 770 there which is worth about 3.000 euro a restored 4wd 1210 which is worth about 15.000++ euro's ect.. sure weve got a county skid steer to and there's only 18 of them left in the world and its also an industrial model with a bray blade!
  13. Ok ive made good progress on my 1690 and im now working on the rear of the cab of which ive got to do a bit of sticking on the frame ect and im wondering what you use to stick plastics ect.. together??
  14. and what about calling them wings to??
  15. Love the David Brown 990 its a late 1965 model and looks to be in great order! also that older 4wd fendt is a nice machine! the roll bar on the ford wouldent save a hole lot!
