  1. Me i want to become a proper tractor dealer/contractor as thats the life i want to follow and maybe in a few years i will from what ive seen and heard and jue to there popularty the first dealer ship id want is John Deere and perhaps Fendt both makes are from what i hear are the best around now Massey is another to think about they are all so a popular make and have a good reputation! Some day!
  2. Well heres the real question markus What brand was the best for you work wize and what was the best tractor??
  3. Sorry im not the best at remembering names but is it Deerest's birthday today?? If so happy B day and have a great one!

  5. I like that blue power!! did that pic of the 4wd one i put up recently have any insperation for you to build a secura cab one to?
  6. The Majority of FORD 8210's in this country have had an engine change!! but cant say the same about the MF a good little tractor.
  7. Well i grew up around All sorts of tractors big and small But the David Brown Selectamatics were the most impressive to watch at work they were such a stylish tractor and the most relible machine you could buy! My father and uncles used every short of tractor including leyland nuffield massey ford fordson ursus crystal ect.. ect.. but when came down to it the DB's one for there excelent traction very relible stylish good source of parts and generaly just a greaty tractor! I absolutly HATE FORDS! because they were next best thing to a wheel barrow with an engine realy noisy cabs! Horrble steering no grunt (livelyniss) and they would pull notting! If you ask me the Fordson Major was the best tractor ford made! All tough i like massey ferguson tractors i have no interest in looking at them at shows or anything because theres to many! there's a bloody plague of grey asses all over Ireland and there all the same more or less!! the same for 35s and 135's thats why if i were going to buy a massey id buy something rare like a 188 4wd or an highway 135 or something.
  8. Definatly not Kev there is to many restored 35's and 135s now that people dont even bother looking at them at show's people take a lot more notice of an orignal tractor if i were you all i would do is get new seat cushens and tyres and just give it a good wash and fix leaxs ect... but prserve the tin work with a light coat of waste oil this way it will be preserved!
  9. The weights on the one on the left is crucket the numbers are different and one facing right the other left

  12. I have 2 orignal sales brochures for these marrshall tractors there was only 150 of them made i think? If the models can fetch that i wonder what my brochures would make??? I think they were prity much the same tractor just different paintwork and interiour.
  13. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Is this worth it! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-Marshall-D944-die-cast-model-tractor-by-Conrad_W0QQitemZ330194147677QQihZ014QQcategoryZ68398QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  14. HA HA! i like that nigel! Another rather ugly looking tractor in my opinion but we all have hour likes and dislikes! for me in terms of good looking modern tractors it would be a joint spot between renault/class and Mc Cormick
  15. no i think these redution units were only for high clearance.Perhaps some one else knows more??
  16. So Marky what info have you got on this one for use??
  17. We had one of these 135QD's last year of which i sold to a my ex employer (He's a massey fannatic) And the model looks spot on whit the one we sold. i can remember i was told that these were the last of the 135's and were basicly 240's with 135 tinwork
