  1. The PTO is the (POWER TAKE OFF) Its the round shaft used to power implements on a tractor there mainly on the rear of a tractor just above the draw bar. some modern tractors also have a front PTO.
  2. Ive put rears of a britains same and the fronts im going to use a hole axle and wheels of a britains styre profi ive also started work on a DB 1594 chassis to so i will have to get another styre profi to get the front axle as well.
  3. HA HA I like that ;D If theres any tractor the DB should make a comback as is the maxxmum which was rightly dezigned to be a DB now them in magpie colours a new backend engine cummins 6/Impoved DB 6 either turbo use the same backend as a 1694 make it bigger fix the flaws ect.. then u have one beatifull tractor!!!
  4. Well were do i start the mirrors the front lights the lincage my god there is some difference in the USA and Europein version they must of thought the americans didnt care about good detail.
  5. No bother! Sorry something happend to the pics of the model but as you can see MX-Driver also has pics up!
  6. The tractors are imported by a man named Donalled Brown thats why there called D Browns i will fill u in later as i half to go now. Well any way from what ive heard is the david brown was a popular tractor in Germany were im told the dealer is sittuated weather he was a former DB dealer or not i dont no any way Mr Brown had the bright idea (not been sarcastic) of having them sprayed in old DB colours and haveing D Brown put on them which does not mean it affects the copyright of david brown tractors LTD. They should sell well if there tought to be DBs the question is are they a good tractor or cheap dirt??None the less if there successfull we may see some apperaring within the UK and Ireland. Personaly i would like to see these new tractors restyled with a maxxmum bonnet it would look alot more DB then.I visted the meltham mills factory back in 2004 i think it was a great tour and was very intresting to see some of the familar sights from the DB videos like the old test track the area were i belive the cab strent test rig was based i also seen the casting sector and some intresting genuine DB machines for cutting gears ect with the DB name cast into them.. Also intrestingly they keep alot of the old parts books measurements ect ect in the factory i noticed these in one of the offices they were stored in large DB follders. The factory is still working day in day out recondtioning water pumps oil pumps ect ect.. and they are making new DB crown wheels half axle shafts ect.. i have a few pics i will post them up.

  11. Ok theres alot of info on the spec sheet so i will give the basics on the 145-14. 6 cylinder engine Power 149HP 12 forwards 12 reverses standard! 16 forwards 16 reverses optional! Hydrostatic steering Tyres front 16.9 x 28 8ply Tyres rear 18.4 x 38 8 ply.
  12. Ok thats it folks if any one else wishes to contribute to it please do ive one more thing to do and thats put up the specs for the 145-14. as you can see theres very little difference in the 145-14 and the 155-54 mainly the steps and front nose cone but other wise are very simaler.
  13. Ok the britains renault 155-54 were very simaler to the 145-14 so alot of them were re decaled to be 145-14s and as this is my first model of the moment it may not be that good but other wise enjoy.
  14. Love some of these new models especialy the fendt's has any one got some close up pics of the YTO white tractors at the show i belive they were mistaken for david browns by some people??
  15. Was just thinking i dont think i will stop buying models but if britains do make the 12 and 14 series i will likely try to buy as many as i possibly can! If they make the older IHs it will be great to sure they have already made the big articiculated version so will likely make a few of the smaller uk ones to. ;D ;D
  16. I read some were that the bos of RC2 is a big fan of tractors from the 70s so we are likely to see several different types of classic tractors over the years including massey ferguson case leyland ect ect... appearing As long as they do the david brown 1210/12 1410/12 i will be trilled and most likely i wont want any other models.
  17. for me hopfully a new ford 5000 X2 ford 7000/7600 UH 818 fendt and the new fiat from Ros!
