I have to say i like the look of this model alot is it definatly 1/32 scale they use to be 1/25 wasent it?? does this mean ros are upping there standards in the model world?? are they going to do the massey and landini range agian to?? My father siad that if there was any other tractor he would by other than a david brown it would be a fiat they were suppose to be a very good relible machine only problem was the tinwork rotting away. (i mean fiats not new hollands!)

  4. Yeah the kramer parts are quite expensive its a pity david brown didnt use the carrero on the 1410 rather than the kramer which are a sh'*t axle.Does this 1410 still drive or not?does it run?I have an idea what the problem is my father's 1690 hit a pole two summers ago finnish this later

  6. I think shes to far gone for restoration as you can see the bonnets are shabby the interiours in bits the steering box is gone among several other bits and pieces but ill find out for you tomorow what da's looken for it.
  7. The last tractor is another 1410 Q which is a project tractor of mine.The plough is a david brown 3 furrow reversible.

  10. New wheels are of a joal loading shoval.and heres a pic to show what the trucks colour use to be.

I recently bought two models at a carboot sale a new ray peterbilt semi with some small damage and a mercedes jeep also new ray 1.32 scale which im working on at the moment ive resprayed the peterbilt's cab in white and im also spraying the new wheels in white for the merc my original intension for the truck was to do it out the same as the one used in the james bond film licence to kill of which the truck was an actual kenworth i think but are simaler machines But ive now decided im going to do it out as a David Brown/case dealers truck and add some decales of the case name and david brown emblem which should look good pics to come later.

  13. Oh she was stunning looking when she was finished my brother wanted to keep her! But just wait and see our own one when its finished it should look even better! and this one had a bit of a tidy up not to long ago to but only wheel painting is all
  14. Yeah my brother takes a lot of pride in his restorations/refurbishments! Theres still a good bit of grip on the front tyres the owner didnt want them changed so weather hes going to or not i dont no its already gone back to him now and hes fitted a new hedge cutter on to it.

Hears a Genuine red DB 1694 which my brother shane gregan has refubished mecanicly and cosmeticly for a customer over the last few months she looks great it was dyno tested and shes putting out 137HP and the injector pumps never been turned up a fair difference to the apparently 108HP they were siad to put out in the orignal brochures

Well my father has a soft spot for her so hes keeping it im told its a MK2 JCB forrestory conversion one of only 5 in Ireland the winch on her im not sure what size winch is on it but id say it might be 6 to 9 ton?its awaiting a new clutch but otherwise its in great condtion.I cant say the same about the jcb 4 but the stand buy one is in good condtion.
