No, then you have a series III 7710 on fat 38" wheels. The wheelbase on the Britains 7710 is closer to 1/32 of the real 7710 than the wheelbase of the UH 7810 is to the real 7810. It is nowhere near the 1/32 wheelbase of a TW. The only detail it falls down on are the chassis rails, which were on the 6 pots but not the 4 pots.

The four pot 700/710 models descend from the 200 (4200, 5200, 7200) rowcrop models which were produced at Highland Park in the USA.

I'd have to disagree on the TW/7710 front. When you put the Britains TW35 beside the ERTL TW5/15/20 they are very very close to each other scale wise. When you put the Britains 7710 beside the ERTL model this is what you get. Here's how the 7710 looks when put alongside the 7610 and 7810.

Or upgrade to the 21st Century version.

I finally spotted Murphy Brothers at silage. No pics of the 936 and mower, or the JCB loader though. Looks like John Qs are on the way out and Fendts and Newfies are on the way back. 6930 on the rake Pair of Fendt 820s and the Jag 900 One Fendt 820 Newfie T7060 (Here's a vid of their 936 that someone had posted to Youtube)

Not great pickings today either. Old NH 05 series harvester after finishing a field and two 1993 Deutz 6.31s drawing away from it. One trailer is an 18ft Dooley, the other is a 16ft but not sure of the maker. Also a brand new John Q 6430 knocking grass with a new Krone mower

MF6480 with JF FCT950 picking up after the Fendt I saw mowing the other day. I saw three tractors drawing away; JQ 6630 with Redrock 12ton, MXU125 with Dooley 10ton, and a Landini which I didn't get a picture of.

The TS110 with the 20ft Herron I drew silage with a 6640 and a 20ft Dooley a few years. Mighty craic.

No. I Kept moving in the hope of finding some in the wild. The only good photo I missed was a reverse drive 936 with triples, but I plan on getting pics of her in action during the week.

As the weather has now turned for the better we can expect the lunatics to be let loose on the back roads of Ireland and the UK with tens of thousands of horsepower hauling grass, terrorising the civilians, and suffering from the dreaded Green Fever. Pics and stories here please. I went for a drive today and only spotted one Fendt 716 with a trailed Kuhn mower knocking grass. I drove past three bigger contractors yards but all their kit was sitting idle, although trailers were kitted out with silage sides and mowers were lined up ready to go. Hopefully I'll have a better result, and some pics, tomorrow.

I think the gearboxes in both mowers would be turned to metal filings within an hour or two. Have you considered running three gang mowers on both of these, or maybe putting Newfie T6020s under the JQ mowers?
