Silage 24
SPN replied to Paul Palmer's topic in General Discussion / Off topic discussion & Everything Else
There's a little bit being cut here, but it would be more accurate to call it zero grazing than silage. -
Im back after a long break and after relogging back in

Welcome back. -
-
I'm seeing April (was previously March, was previously Feb, was previously Jan, ha ha!!)
-
Nearly €200 😮 Lambo 1556 DT version available as well
-
How easy would it be for the model to be scaled up and printed at 1/32?
-
Welcome to the wonderful world of carpet farming Mark. Scaledown have recently issued a 4 furrow Ransomes plough and I'm guessing it could be extended to 5 furrows. As Robbo mentioned, Sean is fettling his Ransomes/Pettit 8 tonners at the moment. UH have made four versions of the Matador Gigant, maybe about 10 years ago. One in silver, two in the dark green and one in the lighter green. They are not easy to find, but they do turn up a couple of times a year. https://www.farmmodeldatabase.com/en/view-details/011607/universal-hobbies-1-32-claas-matador-gigant.html There's a long queue of people waiting for someone to make a massey 29 or 30 (or 500) seed drill. For such a popular machine it is strange that nobody has yet made a model of it. Looking forward to seeing your diorama.

Might be time to upgrade the Dominator 98SL

I'm hoping for a T7.270 Methane
-
I'm disappointed that it didn't get the Tier V bonnet. Maybe sales don't justify any expenditure on bits that aren't common to the CASE version.

I never bought the T6.140, does it have an AdBlu filler? -
Bring plenty of shearbolts with you :))
-
The T5.130 and T5.140 are interesting machines. The front end is the standard T5 fare from the old FIAT 110-90 factory in Jesi in Italy, the Dynamic Command gearbox is an engineering delight , and the back end comes from the old Ford 5000 factory in Basildon. The best of all Worlds. Needless to say, multiple examples of the T5.130 and Steyr 4130 (T5 in Cork colours) will be appearing in the next update from Milltown Farms as it shifts to Tier V engines across the fleet.

I found all my T7.225s were very hard to unscrew from the plinth. It's like the robot was torqued incorrectly on that production line. -
Also, some dealers are now discounting the T6.180 Heritage to around the €40 mark, so shop around.
-
I've gone with the rear wheels of the Replicagri 60/TM series models, shown here on the Steyr equivalent of the T6.

Marge NH T7550, tractor linkage is too wide UH NH T6.180 Methane, the (old type 2 point) linkage will lift and hold it, but it doesn't look great
-
The 5m cultivator is a very nice model, and great value, but the linkage is a problem. First up the Schuco Schluter 2500, the tractor linkage is much wider than the cultivator

The Marge weight does fit, nd it looks well, but the links won't stay up with the weight. The top link also probably needs tweaking as it isn't stable and pops off with the slightest movement. -
Have a look at the Artisan 32 range, I know they have some with the Mega X Bib pattern, such as the 1050 you refer to. https://www.artisan32.com/fr/101-1-roues
