  1. I have not seen this model in the flesh, so to speak, but why do you think is is so bad? \ \
  2. Just curious Gav \ \ Why do you cultivate before you plough. It seems to me that it would be a waste of fuel/time as it is all going to get turned over anyway, and it would also leave an unstable surface and the ploughing tractor would be scrabbling for grip in the loose soil? \ \ \
  3. I was seriously interested in this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290343168063&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT until bidder 6 got involved and drove the price up \ \ \ Why do some people have to get into a bidding war with 3 days still to go ??? you can't win the item and all it does is drive up the final price that you will have to pay in the end

I have decided that rather than keep making new topics for the tractors I see out and about I will just add to this one like some other members do for their pictures So, I will start with a McCormick MC135 and Dowdeswell 5 furrow
  10. He is going to get over run with emails... so have I ;) :D
  11. I know that this is a bit in advance but I have just got an email from Travel Lodge offering advance bookings until April 2010 for £19 per room :o Now being a tight fisted so and so (and it will also leave more for models), I want to book a room for next Aprils show. I know it is normally the first Sunday in the month so that would make it April 4th, is anyone able to confirm this please?
  12. I think this is the 1/32 one http://www.toylord.de/Bilder/VinX/MF1014Set.JPG
  13. The same could be said of the Siku Fendt Tannengrun, will it be really different or just a colour variation on a theme \ \ \ \ \ I will probably end up getting one though :
  14. Only one thing Nigel, I have never seen a set of these rollers with paint on, all of the ones I see are rusty \ \ \ \ \ \
  15. Considering the amount of OSR grown and the length of time it has been grown it is very surprising that none of the major manufacturers have come up with this as a modification :-X well done :)
  16. Unloading at the side of the field into a Griffiths trailer with a TS115 on the front
  17. I don't know about "harvest has started" but I think this field of Barley should have been cut some time ago, it was almost laying down flat and the heads were dropping off :o :o heaven knows how much yield had been lost before the combine got in \ \ Ah well its going going gone now and it was a nice old Dominator that did the biz
  18. Great stuff again RDF, that trailed JD is a real rarity and still in superb condition 8) 8)
  19. It's not until you enlarge the photo and I could see you standing beside the tractor that I realised just how BIG the Xerion actually is :o :o :o :o :o

  24. Then there is the farms main tractor , a New Holland T6080 which was attached to John latest purchase The Kuhn Venta power harrow/drill combination He did have an applicant to help at harvest so he got a try out on the old tractor to see if he was any good ;D ;D ;D ;D Nah...... sack him :D :D :D :D
  25. I was up in the Border country lest weekend and called in to see a true gentleman, JDC, who farms 400 acres of arable by himself (except at busy periods). All of his machinery is meticulously maintained and in immaculate condition. First up the "yard tractor" a clean Massey Ferguson 3065 2wd The next is a Renault Ares 616RZ which is on rowcrops and is the sprayer tractor
