  1. The only thing that I would say about that Callum, is that it might be in a different venue next year. There was talk a year or so ago that the hall that they use is due to be demolished to make way for housing. The LCN Club were then looking at various venues in different towns to use going forward. This seems to have been postponed for this year at least due to the last couple of years of Covid but there is no saying what will happen next year or where it will be.
  2. Did the salesman still have all of his fingers when you have finished your negotiations? I know what you are like when there is a deal to be had.
  3. I would have to say that I don't think that you would be able to go to Zwolle without spending far more than you had anticipated and there is no way that you would get them all back without paying for extra baggage
  4. Yes, their faces squashed against the window
  5. Understatement of the week, a smidge? Just unfortunate that I haven't got a trailer he would fill that if he could. Having said that, I remember seeing Brian's car packed to the roof
  6. There are a number of ways, depending on what suits you the best. You can go through the tunnel but, you then have a 5 hour drive the other side through France and Belgium before you get to Holland. To be fair, it is good roads and dual carriageway all the way, we have done it that way several times. If you are going for the 2 days then you might have to leave around midday on the Sunday to get back to the ferry terminal at a reasonable time We now take the overnight ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland. it is then around a 2 hour drive to Zwolle and again, all dual carriageway. This is slightly more expensive but less fuel and a lot more relaxing. It also means that we can stay until the show finishes on the Sunday as it is easy to get back to the ferry terminal in time for the sailing back to the UK. There are other sailings to the Hook of Holland and Zeebrugge from Hull but it would depend on where you are based, not sure if there are any from Scotland as I have never had to look from that way. You can fly to Amsterdam and then either hire a car or get a train on the other side, we have never done it this way and you would not be able to bring much back with you unless someone that you know is taking a car. I am also not sure of the timings and how you would do it, sorry. I am not sure if you are connected to Brian Stewart (Mr Softie) on social media but he would be the best person to advise on travel from Scotland, I haven't seen him on FTF for quite a while. You would also have to factor in overnight stays, Friday and Saturday, most of us stay at The Lumen Hotel in Zwolle, it is only 5-10 minutes to the show hall and there is an "all you can eat" Chinese buffet around 100 metres away. There are of course, other hotels in the area, I think that others have stayed at The Campanile but not sure where that is exactly in relation to the hall. Hope this helps
  7. Haha, I have got some blue ones for him as a swap and I can hold them to ransom 😁
  8. Jest been delivered to a friend in Holland for collection at the Zwolle show in November, thanks Sjaak
  9. Then went to Kirkby Stephen and saw some classic cars in the town Square
  10. I have been to the Muker Show in North Yorkshire today, quite a small affair but interesting nonetheless, a few classics on display including this Mineapolis Moline and muck cart

Of course Sean however, I think I might have sorted it now. There will always be others on the list to look out for

I originally ordered both of the Same Laser models from Toys Planet in August 2020 but since then it has proven difficult to get them to commit to posting to the UK and they are no longer answering my emails. I have managed to secure one from another company T & F Models and hopefully that will be delivered soon. Failing that, it will be a search of the stalls at Zwolle in November
  14. On the A50 in Cheshire this morning going towards Altrincham was what looked like a road run but I couldn't see properly because of a hedge, looked very much like a red Benson County as well as a number of other smaller tractors
  15. Last few odds and sods, not all tractors on show
  16. They have also got contractors in putting down some new roads through the farm
  17. First time I have seen a DB plough and it appeared to be a sturdy bit of kit for its day
  18. The two Countys belong to the same person, I have photographed the 1174 before doing some ploughing but it is the first time I have seen his 1164
  19. My local farm have been having a small tractor rally today so I went along and got a few snaps. The high clear MF 165 has been on the same farm since new and is used in their vegetable enterprise. The Ford 4000 looked good but, once it started up it smoked like a chimney
  20. Hi Markus, good to see you back. I have merged the two accounts so you should also be able to see your old posts but it keeps your new user name
  21. Another unusual machine at Royal St David's golf club, apparently replacing the irrigation system
  22. Away in Wales for a week and this lovely MF is in the barn
  23. On FB this morning from Wihuri Agri which I believe is in Estonia, got Nokian tyres as well
