  1. First time that I have been to this show and have to say that I was very impressed. It always used to clash with the Penrith show but not this year as it is a week earlier. The showground is huge and, as well as the outdoor areas there are several permanent indoor arenas, all if which were rammed full of tractors. As well as the spares and machinery dealers there were a fair few model dealers as well so something for everyone. One of the things that struck me straight away was a collection of 12 X 1200 Series Massey Ferguson tractors, I have never seen so many gathered together in one place
  2. From the Newark show today, first time I have been and very impressed
  3. Thanks Stan, not Scottish though, flying to Dublin from Liverpool but will keep my eyes open on the road to Galway and see what I can find
  4. Question for our Irish members. I have to go to Galway next week on business, are there any good model shops in the area?
  5. Not sure I could afford the postage, I suspect we may have rather a lot to bring back between the 4 of us in my car plus the other car load
  6. No not yet, if you have any advice or tips they would be most welcome as we are likely to get clobbered as we return

    Schuco 2022

Due in December 2022, Same Buffalo 130 both with a cab and also a version with a roll bar. However, knowing how these time estimates are then I wouldn't be surprised if this gets put back into the New Year. Let's face it, we are still waiting for the Same Dinosaur that was supposed to appear in August, (well, I am anyway)
  8. A Schuco John Deere 4955 with twin rear wheels, not sure that it would fit with the collection but it was at a price I couldn't refuse ๐Ÿ˜œ
  9. Saw this one parked up at a farm this morning, sorry about the glare
  10. Well spotted that man! I hadn't noticed that, you are correct
  11. The linkage is taped to the underside of the plinth. The linkage version also has a taller air cleaner
  12. Mention has been made that there are 2 versions of the Same Laser 150, both come with a front weight ( that I have not yet worked out how to remove) , and the other has a front linkage option. The main difference between them appears to be the position of the headlights, either at the top or bottom of the grille.

Just when you think that you have all of the new Same models, they bring out the second edition (limited of course)
  16. The 3130 is a gorgeous model but very fragile, I looked at mine in a funny way and one of the wing mirrors pinged off๐Ÿ˜„ well worth having though and probably almost sold out now
  17. Another great issue, this time with a write up of J&S Lewis, Same tractor dealers based near to me and a good friend of mine. ( Jim Lewis is also mentioned in the Roadless article as well)
  18. The Galaxy 170 is limited to 500 and the 2 Lasers are 1000 each so I suppose they are all limited really. Next up, the Explorer versions, due within the next 6 weeks. They really are limited, 50 of each.
  19. No, they all appear to be the same. Some photos on various sites show tractors with front linkage and the headlights at the top. All of these have a front weight and the headlights at the bottom.
  20. Full set of the new Ros models, Laser 130, Laser 150 and Galaxy 170
  21. Prices go up and down and manufacturers keep an eye on them to see whats selling. Just look at the UH Massey Ferguson 3080. A year or so ago they were going for over ยฃ100 each, UH promptly reissued the model to cash in on the demand and now most sellers have them for ยฃ45-50 and they are not selling at that.
