  1. Hi Mike I can't see what you current password is but, we can reset it to a generic one and email that to you. You can then log in using that password and change it to one that you can remember Mike
  2. The new Same Explorer, Lamborghini and Hurlimann versions will be available from next week. Hopefully get mine early in the new year 🙏
  3. Which one are you missing? I might be able to help
  4. No tractors in these photos, just views over Derwentwater near Keswick

    Schuco 2022

Yes you are correct, and with varying degrees of accuracy depending on which Hercules they actually measured. The Schuco Dinosaur looks to be a right mess, there were 2 versions of this and it looks as if they have done a mashup of both in one model. On your other point, I have been waiting for nearly 15 years for a good SAME model and then a shed load come at once, not complaining but it has suddenly got very expensive. There is yet another SAME due out later this month, the Explorer 80 and 90 versions are due any day now
  7. Can't believe that I forgot these two 🤐 Some time ago I was trawling Facebook and I saw a post that a guy had done 3 conversions of the Same Antares 130, one with a front weight frame, one with front linkage and one with twin rear wheels. I messaged him at the time and asked if he would be going to Zwolle but heard nothing back from him. Whilst I was there last weekend I got a message to say that Goody might be ringing me as he had been offered some conversions that I might be interested in. At the time I didn't put 2 and 2 together so I had no idea what these conversions were. Anyway, some time later I received the call and I went over to where Goody and Smithy had their stall to be shown the aforementioned Antares models, spooky or what! They appear to be based on the Siku Same 265/MF9240 model so a good solid base if a little sparse but, nobody else has done the Antares (as yet anyway). The short account is that I agreed to buy the front weight frame and front linkage versions whilst Smithy had the twin wheeler, I will leave him to post photos of that one.
  8. Most of the new stuff was the same or similar at most sellers and fairly standard prices. Some of the older stuff varied wildly and you had to have a good look around to get the best price. Only problem with that is when you then go back to the cheaper seller is was quite often already sold.
  9. No problem at all, just straight through without stopping, they were more bothered about vans rather than cars
  10. The finally we come to the purchase that I got most excited about. In 2014 the LCN Club brought out 2 versions of the Same Saturno as a members clubmodel. At the time, I joined the LCN just so that I could order the set and they remain one of the best models in my entire collection. I was wandering around the show and 2 rather shabby looking Saturno style chassis caught my eye. On closer inspection, and later confirmed by a LCN Club committee member, these are the prototype Saturno models that the members clubmodel was based on, they even have the Chinese writing where they were sent back to the factory for alterations to be made. May not be everybody's cup of tea, but to me these are a piece of history and almost priceless. (The others will confirm my excitement after making my way back to our stand).
  11. A couple of small conversions caught my eye as well. First one is based on the Yaxon Buffalo but with the cab removed and a frame added, very European I know, but different. Different exhaust also fitted that seems to suit it. The second was a Delfino made from a Massey 135 chassis, really well done and finished beautifully
  12. Came back from Zwolle with quite a few, both new models and also conversions, as you might expect 95% were Same based with just one Massey Ferguson 2625 but at least the colours were similar......................well................apart from the black Same and a green Deutz version.
  13. It's absolutely HEAVING I have never seen it so busy, this is just one of the 4 halls, I can't even get into the smaller halls
  14. The FTF crew have arrived in Holland ready for the show. We had a couple of stops on the way, first to the John Deere museum and then to The Venneman Collection. A couple of tasters below
  15. I suppose that depends on what you are interested in, he does have a reasonable selection of Britains and UH stuff
  16. Thanks Fintan, yes I did get into Galway city and I found a model shop in the arcade. Nice chap and I made a purchase from him
  17. Hi Jack and welcome to the forum. I can see that you have posted in the "ask a question" board to see if you can source a cab for a John Deere model. if you scroll further down the main page there is a "Wanted" section in the marketplace Can you repost in that section please. The Forum also has a Private Message function at the top next to your log in name Click on the envelope and you can send a message to any registered user, they will also get an email advising them to check their messages. Hope this helps Mike
  18. Interesting set up, many of the usual places have been changed
  19. A seller on Facebook posted that they gad a massive delivery of Massey Ferguson sets and Trigger82 posted that he would buy the lot. Cyril you are a legend
  20. Just a bit of an update as promised, I have now been advised that the 2023 LCN show will take place on the weekend of 9th and 10th of September.
  21. Bit of further info regarding the LCN Club shows. This is the final year that the show will be held at the Ijsellhallen in Zwolle. The venue is being closed down the the site is being re-developed so we are seeing a bit of history in the making. However, that is not the end of the LCN Club show and, in 2023, they have found a new venue in Houten, just south of Utrecht. The plus side is that the hall is a similar size to the Ijsellhallen and so there should be a similar number of traders and exhibits. The downside is that it is costing them more to hire it and so the entry fee and the exhibitors fees are likely to go up. There is also less parking available at the hall. They have been unable to book the usual November dates and so the show date is going to be September, I am trying to get the exact dates and I will update as soon as I have them unless someone on here has access to the club magazine as apparently, the dates are in there.
  22. I have now got round to getting the first of the Same Laser and Galaxy models out of their boxes. I managed to source an original Laser badge which, although slightly damaged, does set the shelf off nicely. I will be adding the Laser Mark 2 and possibly the Lambo and Deutz versions at Zwolle to fill up the shelf.
  23. I was asekd a while ago about how to change the front weight for the front linkage that is supplied with the Laser 150 Turbo and also the Galaxy 170. I have just got round to getting them out of the boxes and it appears to be quite simple. There is one screw on the underside of the front weight, once removed the weight block slides out and the linkage can then be fitted into place and the screw reinserted. If I can do it then anyone can.
