  1. Then I went inside the buildings. The telehandler was a Latil Giraffe and I had never heard of one before. The restored JD was a bit of a talking point and I had read a n article about it before going to the show. The company have done a full nut and bolt Restoration and the finished article came out around £80,000. They were asking why a cost conscious farmer would pay £200,000 for a similar spec new machine when they could get this for far less, it you don't need all the bells and whistles then I would say that they have a point.
  2. Bit more on the rarities now, these two tractors only arrived in the UK on 3rd March.
  3. Couple of crawlers and some Deeres. I was looking at the Track Marshall and trying to decide if it was a 70 or a 90, so I walked around the back and it was neither, it was a TM75
  4. Ferrari and Lamborghini, better known these days for their sports cars (unless you are Jeremy Clarkson)
  5. Bit of a cab theme for this lot, the Ford with the Fritzmeir got a few looks, quite a strange cab to UK eyes. I was also wondering about the MF 35 and whether that was an early DB cab
  6. This Nash 1255 only made £19000 and most people seemed to agree that it was a steal at that price
  7. Then one real rarity. Apparently only one of 2 ever made, County Forward Control with only 268 hours on the clock. This was one of the few where I was nearby as it went under the hammer. It was bid up to £18000 but did not sell as there was a reserve on it. Whilst it is rare I struggled to know what a farmer would do with it without massively altering it, self-propelled spreader maybe?
  8. Masseys in various conditions. Don't remember seeing a 122 before, 4 speed gearbox fitted, possibly French made?
  9. Just got back from Malvern myself and have been sorting through my photos. I will try not to duplicate any that Paul has put up. I did bump into a couple of people there including Paul the Valley Axeman walking through and clutching his precious half drawbar, as pleased as punch with his find. There were the usual standard tractors in the auction, some restored and mint and others still with the grass and nettles hanging off them looking as if a good wind would blow then into bits of rust. There were also some real rarities that I will come to shortly. First up, the auction : On the way back home I passed this first Ford on the back of a car trailer northbound on the M5
  10. I would also like some of the older versions as well, I need a bigger house 😁
  11. More SLH models just announced starting with the Same Antares
  12. Fully agree with you on that Phil
  13. Yet another badge engineered tractor made at the Same factory in Treviglio, a Case Compact this time
  14. And a 1/32 version to go with the others that I have
  15. Latest addition to the Cheshire Police armoury
  16. Am I missing something? I have one of these, mint and boxed and I paid £25 for it about a year ago. I know that there are different versions and this is a rarer one but £215???????? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195608402946?hash=item2d8b2b5c02:g:kEoAAOSwkUVj8PRE&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4DbbYW2Rq%2FJ2V39yZ3%2FRv0NMnM2tW0X%2Fb3KbZ%2B7JhAT9ur5i4T1wBzFCmThIXCESYT5SZfuw%2F0PmldY%2Ba%2BsPDLdHQe%2Fpq7LzdIBoqUdeXI%2BdU3UDxl8vCsUWboUg5kG71jaDdf%2F6ryztitvlRH%2FIaJRxjY9JTNkFaL5tupr9pBho01b9Sosf6RXKDvy25MfKj4Nx2XPvdcwGzKjNRfclXFm57JaZ0x6LHSY34IWccgo7aQn3a4CLSRIWglHz8nzvrOBy4vvKylih4KY1VSYQlJpGUFfUiYz6QBAHqJxNYdDP|tkp%3ABk9SR_bNjKjNYQ
  17. The new 1/32 Same Centauro arrived today, pictured alongside its larger cousin, 1/12th from Dugu
  18. Mine is in the post Smithy, should have it early next week
  19. The SLH models based around the 80-90 hp Same Explorer have finally arrived. I have contented myself with the Same versions as I haven't enough body parts to sell to justify the Lambo and Hurlimann versions however, another member on her is having the full set and I will be handing them over when I see him at the Malvern show. In the meantime I am not opening those boxes as I know how hamfisted I can be and I don't want to damage them. All of the models are resin and come with a front linkage that is easily attached to the front, I am going to display the 80 without the linkage and the 90 with it just so I have got both styles in the cabinet.
  20. Been waiting a very long time for these to arrive, first prototypes seen at the Zwolle show in 2019 but then Covid and other events got in the way, finally delivered this morning. I will put some more photos in the Powertrac thread
  21. The engine was non-standard as well, a big 6 cylinder lump. I suspect that it is used as a "pulling" tractor as there was a skid on the back as well to stop it rearing up
  22. I would say that the most common JD's were the 6195R and the commonest NH was the T7.220
