For at least 30 years I have been going to the show and for the first 20 have been looking forwards to the event Over the past 5-10 years I have been going and seen it dwindle to what seems to be a glorified shopping centre with the odd tractor here and there Going the next time Hoping that they would keep their promiss of getting it back to the "farmers show" to no avail I went to the show today with expectations that as it was the last show there would be something special , But was so dissapointed and bored that after 3 1/2 hours had seen all of the show and was bored senceless so went home This is the first time that I havn't been there all day. I am sorry to see it go but with the way that it has been organised over the last decade I say good ridance , for as far as i can see the organisers have got only one thing to blame for the loss of attendancies and that is themselves for turning it into the shambles that it has become today. Rant over P.S This is also the first year that I havn't bought some sort of model back with me :'( As there wasn't much there

Went to the Renault World series event at silverstone Absalutely fantastic day out To see an F1 car at full tilt flying round the track was a highlight

Went to bloxam steam fair yesturday and picked up a vardstadt topdown 400 and a "lemkin 9 furough plough" Love the detail but pretty useless for displaying Nice bloke at cleveland models

Just having the mother of all downpours at the moment the roads are like rivers some thunder and lightning

WHOOOOOHOOOOO I can now put some stuff in here as i now have a propper work bench up and running I have at the moment one of those italieri workshop kits all over it at the moment ;D

It's only 11ft 10 long by 8 foot 10 Got a good deal on the 4x2 plus I want it fully lined and insulated Couldn't get the sort of shed i wanted from the usual sources and for a custom built shell it was getting on for a grand so decided to do it myself

Shall take some when we start to put it up in the garden It's been a little cramped where we are working on it in a garage and couldn't be ar$ed to get the camera out as we where having to carry things in and out all day Does look nice though 4x2 framing with double glazed door and windows I may have a go at taking a few tommorrow see how it goes

Today I have constructed the 2 sides of my new workshop then took them apart ready for transporting Tommorrow hopefully get the front and back made up Then hope for some dry days so that i can start putting it all together

I only read it as " What projects have you got on the go? " WON'T POST IN HERE AGAIN THEN I'll just go and sit in the corner and gurgle away to my invisible friend :'( :'( :'(

Put the base down for my new workshop on saturday and have been constructing the floor the past few evenings Sawn all the 4x2 framing to size so shall have a big job soon constructing the 4 frames and roof Hopefully over the bank holiday weekend Weather permitting \
