1972farming
I'm going back to my roots and building a Ford 7000 from the old Britains original casting . I've just completed a County 754 built from a 5000 using Siku JCB Fastrac axles and wheels. Edited December 1, 2012 by 1972farming

Deere-est
The weathered models look spot on, especially the 5000 and the Massey which are my favourites. Post knocker is looking pretty ... bang on too, no pun intended.

Stabliofarmer
Think this is the correct topic for this? After speaking with a teacher at school and Marshall trailers I've got permission to use my schools laser cutter to create 6 Marshall QM 1400 silage/grain trailers. 1 is to go to the Marshall factory and the other 5 sold, most likely around £60 Anyway this is the laser cut frame. All that has to be added are the sides and floor sheets What do you think? James
Barry
I'm jealous James, a laser cutter at school..............I only had a pair of scissor and PVA glue to play with in class, and a ball a break times!!!! Did you have to program a computer too? Looking good so far
Stabliofarmer
Haha thanks Barry, while you had a pair of scissors we have a pair of laser cutters No computer programing just drawing in the design to scale like you'd draw a picture on paint or publisher. At my school we use a program called techsoft 2d design to do this.
Jordan_coe2012
Finished these today. Great whethering think I may have one of your creations, the rust on the exhaust is so realistic, may I ask how you achieve this?
BK741
Thanks! I use ModelMates rust effect which you can paint on as little or as much as you wont to give some great rust effects. I love using it as it looks so real.
HS.
Currently have the back actor off a britains JCB 3cx, which was due to be converted to a 4cx, but due to the fact im a clumsy b*****d, it fell from the work bench, breaking the front axel, and shattering the cab glass, so i have decided to create a back actor for a tractor, i plan on having "working" stabilisers, and various other bits and pieces, then spray it JD green, Edited April 5, 2014 by HS.
