Simon
Like I say... better you than me then!!!!!! :D What's the reason for using the HW bonnet then.... I always thought the original diecast one was the most authentic part of the base model

DustyK
Pete that looks good. I have been trying to figure out how to make the bigger bonnet fit. Not sure how your going to do it yet. From the pictures I have looked at you dont need the extra that you left on the tractor. Maybe be wrong though. What are the plans for an engine? My idea of the 8400 wont work I guess. back to the drawing board. Keep us updated. Cheers

Ziko
Like I say... better you than me then!!!!!! :D What's the reason for using the HW bonnet then.... I always thought the original diecast one was the most authentic part of the base model He's building a 4755, the base model he is using is fit for thes types 4230, 4430, 4630 4040, 4240S, 4440, 4640 4050, 4350, 4250, 4450 4055, 4255, 4455 This an complete different model then the 4755. Here 2 pics to compare. 4240S The much bigger 4955 4755 I hope this clears up all the misconceptions of the John Deere 50 en 40 series
Simon
Ooh yeah, that is a lot bigger isn't it.... I never realised they went up another frame size at that age, just how they do it now I 'spose... 6030 ser, two sizes of 7030 series and the 8030 frame.....
